Chapter 5

I help mom with supper and help out with making the salad. Mom’s a really healthy eater and we do a lot of veggies and not just salads. But tonight we’re making chicken breast rolled in cream of mushroom soup and then Shake and Bake and put in the oven.

The salad’s actually good stuff or I think it is mixed greens that they sell in the plastic boxes and a dressing of olive oil and avocado with lime juice in the blender then we stir in really small diced cucumber in it and the pistachio nuts for crunchy stuff.

Things are actually busy and picking up with the whole Halo thing. I wake up feeling the headache form as my waking mind pulls signals in. You know how you focus as you wake up well I’m a psi-meta combo, a telemechanic. So like my eyes focusing in on my bedroom my powers are tuning into every signal around me.

God this sucks.

I wake up really slowly like that climb our of a fog but a good fog. I feel so good, sore but good…actually even the slight swelling on…on Henry feels good because it makes him feel more there as Henry.

My hips are sore, and It from.

The smile creeps across my face even now. I’m sore from giving to too my girlfriend…the right way…and I’m laying face down the strap on pressed up against my stomach it’s gel silicone whatever feeling just hard and spongy enough…and my arm and hand is resting over the smooth sweet dip where her hip meets her waist.

Chapter 8

Flying is just so intense really and it’s getting more and more special to me. I head out over the city and instead of flying just over the city and the Super-Bridge I head out to Sanctuary out over the water.

I’d have enjoyed it a whole lot more but I pull up but slow down. There’s barges everywhere with protestors about the whole Sanctuary thing. Even from the height I’m at I can hear them chanting hate slogans and waving their signs. Everything from them saying God hates freaks, mutants must die, Satan’s creatures….and more.

Uhm oh boy wow.

Gwen talked to me.

And kind of nice she didn’t treat me like a freak.

But she’s pretty…well better than pretty she’s stunning and popular and a jockettes. But honestly I don’t really know the jockettes that much so I can’t actually say if they’re assholes like the guys that are in some of the teams here at school.

Ben was sitting on the sofa in his small apartment, he was supposed to be in class, he didn’t care. What would it matter if he didn't show up. It’s funny how one good teacher can change things. The coach has been that teacher for me. First it’s me on the team. Him giving me this chance and we’ve had three games we lost the first two and we won the third. We actually kicked ass.
