It was the day of Halloween. I had just gotten together my costume and now I’m sitting on my bed thinking of the past, future, and present. Melancholy took me as I thought. Nostalgia swept over me like the gusting winds of autumn. For the past four years, I have been going to Eldritch High school. During that time, I’ve made very little friends as I prefer it like that. Too many friends seemed useless when you can have one or two best friends who actually care for your wellbeing. I have only one friend who has been with me throughout these humble four years of my life.

Synopsis:  Ashley Roberts was terribly abused by his father. Until one-day things got out of hand and the police were called. Ashley's father was sentenced to a year in Jail. six months later his father was released and came looking for his family.  Ashley's mother Janet decided the safest course of action for her family was to move to Littleton, Colorado.  She had a sister there and thought a new start would be best for her children, far away from her abusive husband.  Since moving to Littleton a lot has changed in my life and also a lot of confusion and uncertainty about what laid ahead.

A naive Englishman makes a fresh start in Thailand. He meets an old University friend and he begins a journey which will change his life forever.
Meeting Alex is the first of three volumes of the story. It has been published elsewhere in serial form, but this version has been re-edited and revised.

Direct sequel to Black Ring. Jack(y) is still struggling with her sexuality and her relationship with her husband, Chris. Jill contemplates having a child by using her sister-in-law, Sarah, as a surrogate mother. Jacky and Jill work to reconcile their differences while co-existing in the same body at work and in the home.

A Halloween Princess, a Halloween witch, and a regular dad were walking down the street from house to house on Halloween. There were so many of these Halloween characters, moms, and dads out on the street as the sun was going down. It was a good thing that normally this was a quiet street, because the kids were running back and forth across from one side of the street to the next. They were trying to hit as many houses as they could before it got dark.

When magic spells are cast, some are very specific, but others are vague on the details. If a wizard changes a man into a lovely maiden, he might decide what the new woman looks like and how she's dressed. But what happens if the change is triggered by a magical object, or an ambiguously worded wish? Who determines what standard of beauty to use? Who determines what clothes she's wearing after the transformation and makes sure that it's color-coordinated? Who decides on her hair and makeup? Or imprints skills she may need for her new life? Things that go bump in the day!!!

We managed to escape around eight thirty. We were too engaged with some of the guests who arrived simply to see the work. Bob and his people did an excellent job of advertising the showing but the result on that day was a surplus of people…strollers…who wandered in after dinner. This was their evening’s entertainment.

A successful woman is convinced a female lead marriage is the best path forward and as her career is taking off, her unemployed husband is expected to fill traditional female roles like homemaker and nursing mother. In this chapter... Eric feels compelled to accept difficult truths. (Mature Audience Only Please)

Chapter 8: Lessons Learned

That day was one of the most fun times I had ever had, though the girls quickly got bored and wanted to leave. Thinking that if they got chances to drive a car, they might want to hang around longer.

As I was looking around at other peoples equipment as they started coming into the pit area, I made my way over to Aaron and Roger's table. I hinted around that maybe if they and another friend might try to get Clara and the girls interested in cars, that it might be nicer around here.

Sorry for the long gap since the last chapter. I tried to write a chapter in my other series A Gentle Soul, but got stuck half way through. I finally got fed up with the block, and came back to this one. The characters here just keep writing the story for me. I just have to type it out: Dawn.

The Witch’s Mirror

“Werewolves suck,” Andrew moaned as he scooped up all his cards.

“What happened?” I asked with a smile and lightly taunting note. “This morning you were going to wreck me.”

“Fucking life steal,” he muttered under his breath.

Bill, the store owner, chuckled from behind the counter. “I think you’ll find that it’s vampires, technically, who suck. And don’t feel bad, Andrew, I know how much Sam spent on his deck.”

CHAPTER 2
I had no quick, amusing comeback to that particular little hand-grenade. I didn’t know much about the disease, but I had seen more than enough of its victims, and my memories of them left me with no illusions as to Lynne’s future. Poor bloody Alun; my opinion of his morals had turned such a somersault it was probably being greeted by people holding up score cards.

It’s been 36 hours. The hold is nearly empty, and the flood lights are back on for the second time. I know Tinoct has slept, and I went down for around six hours early this morning. I don’t think Hakho or Chinta has slept.

We’re ahead of schedule. The last of six convoys is here. The last truck is getting loaded. There are too many people to work on the last stack without getting in the way, so Hakho is supervising the last team.

I have a Mr. Coffee plugged in in the control bay, and I’m pouring myself a cup when Chinta comes over and rubs my shoulders a little bit.
