On September 19, 2016 (International Talk Like A Pirate Day) I was watching the local evening news when they broadcast a story about Krispy Kreme Donuts offering a free doughnut if you came in and talked like a pirate. I found the story so appealing, that it inspired me to write my second BCTS serial and post the chapters as part of the then current BCTS writing challenge.

CHAPTER 7 - Don’t ever poke a mother bear

Ellen reached for Mike's right hand and got a firm grip on his thumb and bent it back far enough to hear it break. Mike released Heather and let put a howl like a wounded animal. Bill came charging to his friend's aid. Ellen pivoted on her left leg and landed a solid one-legged kick to his beer belly. Bill folded like a cheap lawn chair.

This is a story about a boy who signed up for a foreign exchange program and wanted to go to a all boys high school but ends up going to a all girls ballet school

Ursula takes her first ride outside the city walls and it is not without incident. Female biology intervenes and she is forced to return to the mansion. There, Fanis tells her what she might expect in the future - and surprises Ursula.

21 - Reluctant Rider

“You saying you believe in ghosts, Geoff?”

“You saying you’ve got the balls to tell Karen she’s delusional, Alf?”

“No, I see what you’re saying. Ellen scares me badly enough. Your missus is…, nah you carry on, Geoff.”

Gladys was smiling at Alf’s strategic withdrawal.

Chapter 3 where Iona learns from her own older British children that her damaged mind might become a danger to her youngest telapthic American childran if they are exposed too early to her emotional damage and psychopathically dammaged mind. Once again, Iona is forced to leave her children so that their impressionable young minds are not damaged by Iona's and she can return later when the youngest children are better inured to her damaged psyche.

Mary and Kyra had both gone missing. Mortar Mage was the first to arrive at the school, dirtied and bleeding from a couple minor injuries, but neither he nor the others learned much from the students, teachers, or talking guinea pig.

“Nice fellow, that guinea pig,” said Mortar as the heroes left.

Night was falling, and the four heroes sat in the mansion, recovering from all that had happened that day.

Bacon...

I yelled “NO TAYLOR THEY ARE NOT GOING TO PICK MY HAIRSTYLE AND THEY AREN'T MY SISTERS AND YOU AREN'T MY MOM” Taylor said “don’t speak to your mother with that mouth and now that’s 1 more month your my daughter.” “Mom we have the hairstyle” said Peach and Rachel, Mother said “what is it”. They said “down the back, blonde, and wavy.” I screamed “NOOOO”. Mother said “that’s two more”

I said “sorry mother”. Mother said “and also say sorry lovely sisters who I wish I was like” I said that and then we ate dinner and went to bed.

Chapter 8 The End of an Era

Back in Perranporth for the summer I soon settled into the routine, but was now based in our admin office rather than the Piran Hotel, working alongside Mum on the running of the business rather than the operational side in the hotels. Although the Abba act had been very successful and a bit of fun, they were not going to continue this year. One of the barmen had left for a new job, and Maria wanted to concentrate on expanding her hair and beauty business, so there were to be no distractions as Maria.

Ms. Novacek gave me a sympathetic glance when Mom ignored what I’d said about my name and pronouns.
