Miss Stephanie makes several more appearances, too.
The week at the ski lodge in New Hampshire continues as does Alice's tutelage of Allie.

The quiet hum of monitors filled David’s hospital room, the soft beeping marking the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. His mother and Emma had just stepped out for coffee, leaving him alone in his still-unconscious state. The fluorescent lights above cast a pale glow over his motionless form.
The peace was shattered when one of the machines began to emit a shrill, rapid alarm. A nurse, passing by the door, rushed in to check the monitors. Her eyes widened as she read the rapidly climbing numbers on the screen.
"The students from outside the mask community are a small but rapidly growing part of our campus," Eve added, nodding in turn. "The school wasn't really intended for them, though. Some of them never really fit in, there, since they weren't interested in becoming masks. They - or their parents - just wanted training in how to use their powers; not how to fight crime, wear a costume or maintain a private identity."
CHAPTER 42
She wasn’t a clone of Carolyn, her hips being a little broader, and her legs not as lean, but in many ways it was a rerun of that pool table moment. Bugger. I sorted my goggles and headed straight for the water.
It wasn’t anywhere near bath temperature, but it was welcoming enough. I pulled down my goggles, and started an appropriate Australian crawl away from the beach. It felt like the best hangover cure imaginable.
Two years ago Stacy visited a newly discovered dimension, with his parents, on an adventurous summer vacation. He was astounded by how the other dimension's technology was decades ahead of his own! During his senior year he applied to Emerson University in the city he had visited. He was excited and hopeful of learning more about their technology as an exchange student, and hopefully bring it back to his own world. (Story set in the Diaper Dimension)
I needed to cheer myself up and I went shopping, but found myself standing in the changing room looking at myself in the mirror and wondering who I am exactly.

part 41.
I staggered out on the heels and saw Simon's car drawing up at the roadside. He leant over and opened the door. "My God," he said looking at his watch, "pretty and punctual. Are you sure you're a woman?"
Parking in the village was never an issue. The drive took place in stony silence with Dad’s grim expression inviting no conversation. There was something I needed to say before we went much further though.
“This isn’t going to do any good, Dad.” He glowered at me, but I pressed on regardless. “He was as surprised and upset as I was by the changes in my appearance – more so. He’s not going to have any idea how to reverse this. Besides, even if he does, I’m not going through with it.”
Monday started out weird and just got weirder. First, I was up early and spent most of the morning before school trying to decide what to wear for my second date with Ross. It had to be something that would also be good to wear all day in school. It took forever to decide on an outfit that, last week, I probably would have chosen without a second thought. The worst part was my assumption that Ross probably wasn’t thinking about his outfit at all.
South Pacific Island:
Screams fill the night air as Jack, Nick, and Cheshire push to get to the center of the island. Chaos, Sher Khan, and Samson attack the guards posted at the enemy’s campsite. As for Jack, Nick, and Cheshire, they were moving swiftly and quietly. They weren’t giving the people in the camp a chance to react.
It hurt, hurt a lot more than I expected it to and… Oh, wait, let me go back a bit and catch you up.
I had gone to London and checked into a hotel, quite a nice one actually and I’ve been here for three hours just waiting, but now it’s time. The reason I’m here is to meet with the incredibly famous Hollywood actress and the conversation with her was all about making sure this would happen.
Chris was still wearing a bra and nothing else above the waist, and he was assuming that his cousin wasn’t going to be satisfied until he was dressed like a girl from head to toe. Which is why he was surprised when Amy walked over to the hallway door, rather than her closet or one of her drawers. “Come on, Chrissy. You can’t hide out in here forever, even if you’d prefer a bedroom like this over your own.”
The next day, we were packed and in the back of the car, heading for the next event. It was a busy six weeks, going from one signing to a hotel, followed by another signing and then on towards the next hotel. We were well looked after, had some time for rest and time in a salon once a week. The signing, in Norwich, had all of Ellie’s family in the queue, and we took them for dinner afterwards.
Princess Alexandria Alessi’s life has turned upside down in the blink of an eye. Only a few days ago, she was enjoying a clandestine summer shopping with her best friend at the local mall. Coming home, she was alarmed to discover her mom was there, and her secret of being transgender was suddenly no longer secret! Within a few short hours, her life became like a movie as she discovered that her long-lost father was the Crown Prince of Osané, a small, secluded island nation. Alexandria was immediately thrust into the spotlight in a whirlwind weekend that led to a Monday press conference to announce her royal lineage.

Crystal has gotten used to being a girl, a Nymph, a Muse, and even a mother figure, but is she really ready to go to an all-girls school and start working at Pandora's Box? The life of a trouble magnet is never easy.
“They’re not really identical twins, you know,” I heard Delilah say snootily to another girl. “The Púca is a shapeshifter, she can look however she wants.”
After
struggling with baulky rigging, the Downwind Dasher arrives at Bibek
with the other vessels. Margrave Simbran is waiting there to give the
visitors a proper welcome.
But when I opened the door and the woman in there turned around to look at me my mouth dropped open. I knew who she was, and all I could think is why does a massively famous Hollywood actress want to talk to me?
continuation of a story I wrote about 10 years ago and couldn't decide what to do with it. Make sure you read the preceding parts before continuing
I awoke the next morning as the light came streaming through my parted curtains. I glanced over at my alarm and it said 8:10. I stretched and sure enough I was free. I didn’t even feel the hobble bands. I swung out of bed, attached the walking bag then switched tubes and got up and made my bed. I put on the peignoir and mules and went out to see what was going on as it seemed quiet out there.
The old academic punishment of writing something fifty times doesn't always work. Just look at Bart Simpson. But when Sandy Bradwyn uses it, it can be VERY effective.
Eli grew up on a ranch in Montana. He had heard about Incursions, Breaches, and the Titans that came through those breaches to slaughter some people and capture others. To him though, it had always been something that happened far away to other people. His life was forever changed though when a Breach opened near his home, everything he knew was destroyed or taken, and he ended up Altered.

I took a deep breath to calm myself a bit and asked, “Is this about the teleporting thing?”
The fact that we considered the story future fact set him back.
“You’re telling me that there are islands out there which will disappear in our lifetime?”
“We are. There are research papers that lay it out, clear as day, should you bother to read them. It’s just that we have been in a place where reading them was our job. It will continue to be our job for a while longer, so the next story will have similar reality. We have a play, opening in Amsterdam, in a few weeks, that covers a typical problem of the rise in water levels.”
