Mrs. Blake’s firm but compassionate guidance helps Emily reflect on her actions, while the warmth and support of the Blake family remind her that she is not alone. David stared at the sneakers in the box, the deep purple color gleaming under the light. “Great,” he muttered, lifting one up for a closer look. “These will match my scales.”
“Your what?” both his mom and Kelly said in unison, their voices sharp with confusion.
David froze, his mind racing. Crap, why did I say that out loud?
“My dragon… oh, umm… these are really pretty.” He trailed off, trying to backtrack, but his mom wasn’t having it. Her expression hardened, and she crossed her arms.
The High Priest, infuriated by Akari’s growing influence and the success of her divine artifact, realized that subtlety was no longer an option. His previous attempts to undermine her had failed, and worse, they had only solidified her resolve and earned her more support from the academy. It was time to escalate his efforts and strike directly.
We got back to the truck yard and Anders called for a meeting in the afternoon. I was told to just relax until then so I went and sat with Berget. She was very appreciative of my business look and sent me off to different places to get papers for her.
The ploy worked as I got a lot of ‘hubba hubba’ comments, and I really felt good when we went off for lunch.

Christie's Mom, Amanda, is concerned. So far, her daughter's trial is nothing like any other such experience documented in her family's extensive records. “This time I met an interesting lady, she was like a grown adult or something I think. She was really nice, and she really seemed to get along with the little girl. Almost in a big sister kind of way. She tried her best to help her learn girly stuff too. Though what made me the happiest was that we were finally a squad, Raftilia told us that we were ready. I can't wait for our first mission as a team!”
After an hour of modeling underwear picked by Brita and watching the other two model her choices Fred called a halt, "Okay, let's just stop and buy it before I get too hot or too embarrassed."
"I agree," Sally said quickly.
Brita smirked, "Oh, alright."
As they were leaving Soma Fred had an idea, "We should check for stores that sell fire resistant clothing."
Sally added, "Unless you enjoy burning off your clothes Brita?"
"Is there any place that sells such things?" Brita said.

“Girls, go play with yourselves in the other room.” Vincent looks at the brunette on his right when he orders them.
Ariel watches as both women leave Mr. Galante’s side to play with each other in the other room. He turns his attention back to Mr. Galante.

Travel Plans

“You’re probably not strong enough to carry one of us, huh?” Michelle asked as she considered the problem.
It was quite an early start on Tuesday morning. I’d committed to myself that I was going to follow a normal school day routine, even though I’d be studying on my own. I’d not be doing myself any favours, if I allowed myself long lie ins or spent all morning watching You Tube.
I rubbed my hands together and opened the book to the 101st page, the exact middle. I was shivering with anticipation. 'This is it,' I thought. 'Today's the day I join the coven'.
Forty Miles Away from The Warehouse:
“Who puts a bomb on a school bus loaded with kids?” Tammy looks at Leland and Nyx.
They had located the bomb Jason Bush had given them the location of. Jason was right that she would have felt bad about letting these kids die. He made sure he had an ace up his sleeve.
“Do you know anything about disarming bombs?” Leland looks at Tammy for an answer to his question.
“No, my training didn’t include disarming bombs.” Tammy looks towards Nyx “you wouldn’t happen to know how to disarm a bomb, would you?”
Joss sighed as he worked on the commission painting. Knowing it needed to be delivered within two weeks, he wanted it done that day so the oils had time to dry. Smiling as he shook his head, he continued to add details to the dog's ears. Four years and a double degree and I'm using it to paint a rich woman's dead Airedale! he chuckled to himself.
We kissed a bit more and then she said that we had to work again in the morning. We got back on the bikes and went to our respective homes. Astrid was still up when I got in and she took one look at my face, “A good night, I see.”
I suppose that I looked blank so she laughed, “You can always tell when a girl has had a good night, especially when she’s forgotten to redo her lipstick.”
I wait nervously by my front door. I am trembling. This is my first date. Simon is picking me up at 7.30. It is 7.35 now. I have been ready for an hour. I check my reflection in the hall mirror for the 50th time.
My red tinted shoulder length wig looks perfect. It cost a fortune. Real human hair. I have been spending most of my wages on clothes and makeup since I decided to stop fighting against my desire to be a woman. I have struggled to be a real man all my life. At 5ft 6 inches it has been difficult to look the part.

Be Careful What You Wish For...
It's one of the oldest lessons a witch or wizard can learn when it came to their wondrous magickal world. Few ever put much thought of, least of actually think it meant something. Bellatrix Black was raised by an abusive father and a mother who saw her only as a legacy. In a House long having lost its soul it was the young Heir's job to protect her sisters and do whatever she was told.
That all ended when she found the Dark Lord and became his right hand. For once she had power and everything she ever wanted. Fourteen years in Azkaban was the least of her worries when her Lord promised the world to her. That like every wish she had turned to ash when the Dark Lord was killed at the Battle Hogwarts.
What if Bella survived the Battle and with her young daughter in tow made one last wish? A wish to save her life, and her daughters most of all. But also a wish to finally have a life where she was truly happy.
It seems so commonplace today, that to explain to somebody that your father now lives as a woman called Florence is unlikely to surprise people the way it used to.
I kissed him on the cheek and said I hope to meet his girlfriend soon and that maybe if I get a boyfriend for a double date. He looked at me and asked if I wanted a boyfriend and decided to inflate his ego a bit, “Of course I do, if nothing else I really miss getting laid and if he is half as good as you I will be very happy.” And I gave him a wink and started walking home.
After getting punished for a fight he didn't start, Taylor's life has taken a turn for the weird. First it was strange dreams then it was a bizarre feeling that something isn't right. Now he's constantly cold and can't figure out why. But these things are just the beginning of his problems.
It was another frustrating and tedious day at Sheetz. Devin never voiced any of his disdain for his job. If he did then he’d be complaining all day. He assumed all of his coworkers felt the same way. Working in retail was just miserable.
It was apparent that not every one of his coworkers followed his “no speech” line of thinking.
“Listen, my shift starts at 12, so I come in at 12.” Liam stated firmly.
What if supernatural beings like Witches, Faeries, Demons, and their ilk are all real? Glen Evanston is about to be caught in their many traps in my new work in progress: Magic, Mystery, and Mayhem a Graphic Novel by Raine Monday
Joss was happier than he'd ever thought possible. In the days that followed Thanksgiving, he'd started staying over at Judy's house more and more often. While he cared for the Edwards family and knew they loved him for himself, he loved Judy far more than his own mother. Once she became a licensed foster home in mid-December, Judy took over care of Joss officially, moving him from one house to the other with Joyce and Hank's blessings.
Melanie Brown brings us one of her sexy sci-fi romps in Valor, the story of a hapless lieutenant who keeps saving the day by being turned into a bimbo by the enemy.
Young Kyle struggles to make it through the school day without being noticed, but others intend to make him the center of attention. A beautiful coming of age story with a difference. Now available to borrow from Kindle Select for Kindle Prime members.
