A friendly place to read, write and discuss Transgender Fiction.
Home of 3000+ chapters of Easy as Falling off a Bike by Angharad and many other stories.
I'm going to use this as a place to discuss search, how to use it and what people want to use it for.
A few things:
When you use multiple words in a search, the default is to perform an OR search. Searching for curly perm will turn up both curly and perm and will list first results that have both terms.
Searches are case insensitive. Perm, perm and PERM are all the same.
Searches are made for roots, so perm, perms, permed and perming are all the same. But permanent is a different word.
A plus symbol in front of a word in a search means that word is required so curly +perm will return only results that have some form of perm in them and will prefer ones that have curly, also. +curly +perm results must have both words though not necessarily next to each other.
A minus sign means do not include the following word in results so perm -curly would return results that matched perm but would not include ones that also had curly.
Quotes around a phrase will search for an exact match, but will still ignore case. "curly perm" will match Curly perm and lots of variations but both words in that order must be present.
Comments are regarded by search as part of the post.
The sidebars allow you to restrict searches to posts that match various criteria, like type of post, audience rating or authorship. At the top right is a sidebar that allows you to control how the search indexer orders results.
When we upgrade to Drupal 7, this will all change a bit but not drastically.
You can use this thread to ask questions and make comments about search.
When 14-year-old Andrew makes a wish to live a carefree life like his dog, he never expects it to come true—until he wakes up as a beagle named Alyssa. What starts as a dream quickly turns into chaos, with misadventures, unexpected challenges, and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. Will Andrew learn the lesson behind his wish, or is life as a dog his new reality?
Themed cruises are the new travel sensation. It is just a question of meeting a demand. In the travel business we have discovered that there are some “kinky” cruise options which may not be able to fill a whole ship, but if we charter for a whole bunch of different sexual proclivities in a single voyage, the only common and required ingredient is tolerance.
Steve is married to Dee Lilah, who is running for the U.S. Senate. The League of Women’s Voters has scheduled a beauty contest for the candidates' spouses. Ironically, the League hadn’t anticipated a female candidate and had made the rules quite stringent in regards to what the spouse must wear and do.
In what wins the “Bad Timing” award, my psychiatrist was on vacation for the first two weeks of my new adventure. I was completely lost. When I started this, I figured I’d dress when I saw Lisa and otherwise would stay me. Yet, I found myself getting lost. I’d forget my name when I spoke to clients. I’d spend twenty minutes in the morning trying to decide what to wear, and not because I was trying to decide which of my new outfits to wear. Rather, it was because I couldn’t decide who I was. I know a lot of people would love to be able to switch but, believe me, when you have to do it, it’s no picnic.
Authors note. This is a sequel to the story of Mike and Sam that I wrote in 2004. It follows their son, Sam, from his preteen years through college. If you haven’t read the original five parts, it might help you follow this story better if you do. You can find the five parts here:
I feared what might happen next. If he — if they — decided that I was easy prey, I could be looking at an attempted gang rape. If that was their intention, my secret would be discovered very swiftly, and I would be lucky to leave the underground car park alive! How apt that I had called it a mausoleum
— it might end up my last resting place!
As I went through the swing doors of the restaurant into the cold night air, it hit me. I was homeless again and I didn’t have a clue as to what I could do about it.
Lisa reached under the bed, and pulled out a shoe box. "Put these on," she said, handing me a pair of black 2 ½" pumps. I didn’t know they were pumps then, but have since learned more than I ever expected.
Brian never wanted to be a girl, but when you have an actress for an older sister, a HUGE resemblance to her, and then throw in an agent who would do pretty much anything to get a contract — it was better to go with the flow, wasn't it?
Teenage identical twins Allie and Cissy started swapping places just for the fun of it when they were small. It worked better than you might think, considering that Allie is a boy named Alan. Cissy loves sports and Alan loves fashion and the still enjoy playing games and fooling the grown-ups.
But things have turned serious and it looks like someone is setting up a trap....
