Sataria’s Encampment, South Pacific Island:
Three shadowy figures use the night to their advantage as they move throughout the night quietly killing people. The people they killed didn’t stand a chance against them. Any magical wards that might have alerted the guards to their presence were deactivated with just a thought.
This is my sequel to Alicia’s Summer Vacation. I read the story the first time around 1999 and I was horrified at how the story ended. The way it ended left me with a very sour taste in my mouth, because he was a child and the extent of the utter betrayal by those who should have loved him. I been thinking about how to write an ending for around 5 years and this is my feeble attempt.
"I think our Lilly is in love, "Marci taunted me gently, "or else she got laid last night. Do you have a boyfriend now, sweetie?"
I just gave her a big hug and said, "Maybe it's just all those female hormones flooding my helpless brain, or maybe I learned that people can care for me."
"Oh shit, I better get you to employee health, I think you must have had a stroke, or estrogen poisoning, or something."
How do you tell your father you're engaged? What was it that Cathy told Simon she rolled in the grass with? And what about the photos, and the story in the local paper, or was it Spiked?

Who Was I

Note: for those of you that have been concerned, TG elements will be showing up, more obviously soon... Maybe even in the next part, but probably not quite THAT soon unless you can read between the lines.
Preface: This is a story about becoming. It’s also a story about learning how to love, both others and yourself. As our heroine progresses through the most tumultuous year of her life, she must deal with a variety of challenges both ageless and modern. Some of these challenges are mundane but real, others are more unusual, difficult, and intense. As she deals with each challenge, she learns an important lesson not just about being a woman, but about being a person, a full-fledged adult person who can make her own way in the world.
With humor and empathy, Kim tells the story of Billy, an 11-year-old whose life has reached a low point. Weaving in some autobiographical details, Kim follows Billy's journey toward becoming accepted as the girl he has always been.
He knew the routine, having had it drilled into him over the years. Her doggedness was unrelenting and just the sound of her voice was enough for him to spring into the proper healthy posture. Standing up tall, he squared up his chin and drew his shoulders back. Then he thrust out his chest just as he had been taught to stand at attention at the academy. The subtle difference was the added rocking of his pelvis forward that caused his heels to rise up off the floor.
She called this Homeostasis. Patrick called it torture.
"George you awake?" I again whispered. Another snore. I was trying to sort out the little mix of confusion within me at this situation. To my surprise, I found that I had pushed back so that his erection was now firmly against me. It just… felt right.
Kathy and I received a letter in the mail form her friend, about the loss of her son in the middle-east.
It had this poem with it.
I felt it needed to be shared....

They rolled it over to find a woman’s dead eyes staring up at them in horror. A stab wound was just above her heart.

This poem came to me in the last few minutes.
As I lay here in my bed trying to sleep, it just came to me. I don't really know why, but I think my muse might just be nocturnal...

Simon was awake and we had a fresh cuppa and some toast. It was only five, so it was too early to make dinner, not that I was sure who was going to cook what. Tea over, I did up the mixings for the breadmaker Stella had bought and set it in motion.
