Prologue

Relationships are complicated at the best of times. And in my experience they have been made all the more difficult because of my irresolute compulsion to crossdress. No matter how hard I tried (and, believe me, I TRIED), I could never bury my desires deep enough for them never to resurface. In the end I stopped trying to deny who I was. That was probably the best thing I could do for ME, but it certainly did not help my love life.

A Crumb-free Christmas

It is now the 2nd November. but the shops are already bedecked with all the toys, food and decorations for Christmas. Perhaps time to put pen to paper for the Christmas story. As always, I am not fussed about the story being a formal entry to the contest, but I hope readers will enjoy the story, and it may act as a prompt for other people to join in and make an entry.

“Same here.” Jack tosses the two men he killed away from him.

“Count these three assholes as dead too.” Cheshire was dragging two guys and carrying one guy.

Thomas stood on the porch to the apartment looking at his notes for a moment before ringing the doorbell.

A man in his early thirties answered the door, “Yes?”

Don's Response

Don's Response

Synopsis: Just prior to Jezzi's story Darling Dainty Donna and the family ganging up on Don for being mean to Bobbi I thought this story could be inserted instead. There is no meanness, no underhanded ploys, just a boy reaching out for answers from a family that he feels he has lost.........

Camp Kumoni : 17

"...I have to figure out a way that I can stay here and not have the girls in the cabin freaking out. Do they suspect that I’m a guy?.... No. At least not yet. They do however, think, or should I say, know that I am attracted to girls… So as far as they are all concerned, I am a lesbian..."

part 104.

I had poured the soup into a thermos flask, one I'd used when I was a kid going off for the day with the local RSPB* group of young ornithologists, my mum would give me a flask of hot soup to keep me warm on cold days. I'm sure going out with the group led to my interest in things wildlife, for which I am truly grateful.

This Quintessence of Dust

The last survivors of a doomed planet, the two men eke out a grief-stricken pointless existence, foraging in the ruins of shops and warehouses as they wait to grow old and die. HOMEOPATHIC THERAPY | Part 1, Chapters 1 & 2

He knew the routine, having had it drilled into him over the years. Her doggedness was unrelenting and just the sound of her voice was enough for him to spring into the proper healthy posture. Standing up tall, he squared up his chin and drew his shoulders back. Then he thrust out his chest just as he had been taught to stand at attention at the academy. The subtle difference was the added rocking of his pelvis forward that caused his heels to rise up off the floor.

She called this Homeostasis. Patrick called it torture.

Healing a Princess...5 (Truno)

“So we are all in agreement that the Elves will most likely attack the North West passage.” Frydmond stated. “Now how do we surprise them?”

“How about keeping an army in North Shore, or North Mere?” Zareb asked. “They would be close enough to march to the pass in a short period of time.”

“The Elves have spies all over these woods.” Rikki pointed. “They would know our movements before we did.”

"How do you know?" I was astonished at this news and the thought I might be reunited with my bike was wonderful.

“What is was, was magic” story contest entry

“I remember Mom saying her sitter was wild but wow!” I said to myself. I settled in for the night in my aunt’s big, ornate bed and dreamed of her, these remarkable women friends/lovers of hers and what they did together, some of it in this very bed. There were the photos to prove it.

Author's note: I will post a properly proofed version later. My muse was a naughty girl and procrastinated too late to send it to my friendly proofers -- feel their pain. Okay, it's not that bad but still ...

Healing Cousin George - Part 11 A Night of Surprises

"...I entered the kitchen just in time to see Melissa make a bid for freedom! She had climbed out of her high chair and was balancing precariously on the table. I rushed across the kitchen..."

I sat back in the car in stunned silence. No wonder Simon was a gentleman, he was from a titled family and not one of your life peers, his probably went back to Magna Carta or beyond, while mine were still emerging from the primordial swamp.

Josephine Bockkernodd | Chapter 1

Poor ole Joe Bockkernodd . Upset with life. Work, work all the time. Whenever he saw a girl with her boyfriend, a wife with her husband, he thought, “Oh how lucky they are. Never having to work. Always having somebody to take care of them. Oh, if only he was one of the lucky ones with someone to take care of him.”

Being Christina Chase | Chapter 33: When Worlds Collide

"Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit ..." she repeated as she hyperventilated. She ran into her bedroom and stared at the piles of clothes. The mess was one thing, but how could she explain all the male clothing? "I'll just tell them I have a boyfriend," she reasoned aloud, "And he's out of town ..."

True Halloween Drabble

I sat on the stool, legs crossed, in the closed bar, idly holding a drink, the bartender counting the till. Ellie, in a cloud of cigarette smoke on the next stool, saying she wore mens' suits and ties at work. My black knit dress, flowing silk Moschino scarf, wig, even stockings would all carry the memory of it later.

part 99

I awoke with a start, I was stiff and everything hurt for a minute. I had fallen asleep at the computer, leaning on the desk. I probably had a straight line down the side of my face, or the indentation of the back of my hand on my cheek. I bent down with difficulty and retrieved the mouse from the floor, its fall had probably woken me up.

From the time Taylor was five, all he could remember was wanting to be Emma’s younger sister.

taylor-cov-006.jpg

He loved dressing up in her hand-me-downs. He admired his older sister and really wanted to be her. Halloween was his favorite holiday because he could let his fantasies run wild and be Cinderella or Wonder Woman. And playing make-believe was always fun when he could be the cute little girl.

But, something happened when he turned twelve. He put away the dresses and costumes. The doll house went up in the attic and Taylor’s fantasies were all in his mind.

Until one fateful Saturday that changed everything. This is that story.
