Linda Coville went to her closet. The 18-year-old girl wanted to make sure her turquoise ribbon party dress was ready for her big date on Saturday night. Even with the big night out being two days away Linda wanted to make sure her outfit was ready to be worn. What good was it to have a dress that was elegant, modest, and fun if it was dirty when wanted. The dress had the look she was going for that night. That was the perfect look for where her man, Sam Gracia was taking her, the end of school awards banquet.

For a small southern town, Benton puts on an amazing number of seasonal celebrations. One of those is the “The Fireman's Summer Fair”. The purpose of the fair is to raise money for our local volunteer fire departments. Benton has three I believe. Our town is really too small to have standing fire fighting force so we depend on local volunteers. In order to raise money, a number of local programs are put on, local youth's display talent shows, each of the three fire stations take turns selling hot plates, anything from smoked chicken to fresh fried fish, even tacos and tamales.

The next two weeks the band does four gigs and head home. Even Lisa was worn out from the pace they had been keeping. She had to buy a new box of drum sticks from a music store after their third gig. One of her sticks had split right in half while she was performing. Luckily for her she had a spare on hand.

She looks over towards Lindsey and notices she was sound asleep on the sofa across from her. Kaja was sitting at the small table with her laptop opened working on inventory and sales. Jamie and Cindy were in the back of the bus asleep.

After we had kissed the guys goodnight we walked back to the apartment. Kelly was very quiet and went straight into the toilet when we let ourselves in. When she came out she remarked that it had been fun getting screwed standing up but the juices tended to run down her leg as we walked home.

My name is Rose. I’m about five foot eight, and I’ve got light red hair; pretty close to strawberry blonde. All in all, I'm a pretty normal woman.

I was at the SWEET (South Western Exposition for the Embetterment of Transpeople) convention along with eleven other women named Rose. Each of us had given a nickname so that we could be distinguished between each other. One of the women was dressed like a cowgirl, or at least someone from the country, and seemed very reluctant to say anything. When she insisted she be called Jeff, I figured whatever was eating her must have a terrible case of indigestion. I figured she wanted to be left alone, and was chatting with a woman sitting beside me, when one of the women suggested that we all give our stories of how we came to be called Rose.

"Lucius told me that he found you and Draco dueling. I hope he didn't goad you into anything." We had finished lunch and were on the veranda having tea. Draco was back on the Quidditch pitch with his dad dodging bludgers or some such.

"Not at all. Honestly, when he told me that we could use magic here I was more than excited to duel again."

"That's right, you're in the dueling club, aren't you? Quite an achievement for a first year."

"Okay, time to hit the gym, big boy," Abby says, suddenly getting up to her feet from the couch.

"Can we skip this tonight?" I ask without much faith I'll get the answer I want.

"No, don't be lazy it's only the second day. Get up, I got you something." Abby sashays to our table, where she set down the bag she got from the mall. Abby pulls out a black garment, and tosses it in my direction.

I catch, and hold it up, "Are these.. leggings?"

CHAPTER 61
I went back into the living room and called over to Emma, who was nearest.

“Can you call the Olive? Your phone, or the house phone, don’t care”

I gave her the number, muttering apologies to Heidi as I did so,

“Get Kim and Alicia back here now, Emma. As quick as they can, love. Heidi?”

She came back on, and the background noises told me she was driving, or at least in a car.

“Yes?”

“Talk to me”

Mr Jenkins, or would you prefer that we call you Daniel, to be honest you are the only male applicant we have had for this vacancy as a PA, why do you think that it is an appropriate position for you.”

The girls were dropped off later in the evening. They told us that they had been charged with affray but let off with a caution as everyone else had only shouted and waved signs. They said that the police were very interested in the ‘maiden from hell’ who dropped the politician but they said that some of the women police only wanted to bring her in to put a medal on her.

Alan awoke gently to the sunlight piercing through the window, bathing the bedroom in a soft golden morning glow. Being a high-powered business executive, it wasn’t often that he was afforded the luxury of such a peaceful, harmonious start to the day. Usually his alarm’s savage buzz pulled him from his slumber to announce the day.

Just because I am big doesn’t mean I am stupid. In fact, I am pretty smart. I was just a big guy from an early age; big and too strong for all the other kids. That got me into trouble, and trouble kept me away from classes.

Kilts always have been expensive, and many a man couldn’t afford one, most of the men I knew when I was a child had inherited theirs. But all the men and the boys too had to be wearing one if they expected to be fed at Granny’s house on a Sunday, even the toddlers too. I mind my youngest brother Graeme wearing one when he was still in nappies [US diapers] and so young my Mum was still nursing him.

Sitting in the drawing room afterwards with our arms around each other I was again getting romantic ideas in my head, when we were rudely interrupted by the shrill call of my phone, much to my disappointment.
