As they rode closer to the wagon train, Hannah looked over toward Gideon, admiring his rugged handsomeness. She knew that she could pull off the ruse; she had been doing it for weeks already, but one little question was in the back of her mind and she wanted to ask it before they got too close to prying ears.

“Gideon?” she asked.

“Hannah?” he said with a laugh and then smiled boyishly to her, and decided now wasn’t the time to kid with her after all that she had been through. He decided that he should respectfully reply, “Yes Hannah, what is it?”

“I’m basically giving up my… let’s just say ‘life’ here… to help you with the children.” She looked at him, studying the expression he would give for asking. “What is in it for me?”

Once upon a time there was a child.

This child had a mother who had wanted a child badly and finally was able to adopt a baby after her husband died. The child loved mother. And tried to be like her. Even practicing until the child could sit with crossed legs "just like mom".

The child only had a few friends. The girl next door (until she moved away) a girl across the street, and a few boys who lived farther away.

Katrina has left the hacienda and managed to get back to the airport. The plane which Simone assured her would wait for her was gone. She contacted the only person she could think of who might have a solution to her problems, Leonard LeBo of Valley Down Farms. Leonard managed to find Cat a ride, The man was a reporter and photographer knew who was in Brazil at the same time as Katrina. Leonard had no way of knowing the man he contacted had major problems of his own, .

Charlotte continues to become the refined lady. After finding out why she cannot give the fiancée children she offers William a way out of the marriage.
While her beloved is with Wellington in Portugal, Charlotte organises a dinner party where she first meets Queen Victoria’s father Prince Edward.

Well I was going to do a bit where Teri went to a anime convention, and met up with an H1 mob but the humour seemed a little too rough and mean spirited for the story. So to heck with it, I'm keeping to like it was originally done. Enjoy.

He looks at me. “We’ve got company coming over and a big talk to be had for that too so we best get to shucking this corn.”

He heads into the kitchen and takes ice cream he bought and puts it in the freezer of the fridge and then he puts a couple of six packs in the fridge. Then he takes the bags of corn and heads outside and does the head motion for me to follow and I do and Quinn comes with us and Dad gets some of the chairs we have for the back deck and then drags the composter over so we can just like put the silks and the leaves into the composter and we start to shuck corn and it’s quiet for a bit and then Dad coughs and starts.

“So have you kids heard of Leelah Alcorn?”

Connie reluctantly went behind the screen and took off her hat and the dress." "What about my underwear?"

"You can leave that on for now, but it'll have to come off for a few things."

She shyly stepped from behind the screen. The first thing they noticed were the fox ears that had been hidden under her hat. As she stepped away from the screen, they noticed her bushy tail sticking out from the gap in the back of the exam gown.

Lee's adventures continue. His old life is careening out of his control, his new one coming at him head-on. Can he survive the clash of old and new and still keep his sanity. Will his mother's attempts at helping make matters better or worse. It's anyone's guess. For sure, Lee doesn't know.
