Themed cruises are the new travel sensation. It is just a question of meeting a demand. In the travel business we have discovered that there are some “kinky” cruise options which may not be able to fill a whole ship, but if we charter for a whole bunch of different sexual proclivities in a single voyage, the only common and required ingredient is tolerance.

Well, it is actually male-eating plants that spit out females. Doug and his wives fixed everything, but now Doug must remake a planet... and it seems Ka'an will be remade in his image!

In a stunning turn of events, it was discovered that China had captured numerous wizards from the streets and detained them in secretive camps. These powerful individuals, once masters of their destinies, were now imprisoned and stripped of their freedom. The revelation sent shockwaves through the magical community, as the authoritarian regime aimed to gain control over the world of sorcery.
This story is part of a different short story that I've been working on. I really wasn't thinking of writing this section of the story, only to allude to it. But as I was looking at it today, I realized there was a nice place for a Take Your Daughter to Work Challenge story.
I hope you enjoy!
"Joannie!"
called Caleb. "Are you getting up?"
There
was a high-pitched
groan from the little girl's bedroom, and Caleb limped to the door.
He knocked on it and called again. "Joannie!"
This is a story set around now. Some trans women seem to have developed an "ability" . I plan to write several short stories set in distopian or utopian settings. It depends on your point of view. Hence the Disutopia title.
"Mr. President, did you see the footage I sent you?"
"I did Miranda, but I still don't know what I was looking at. It looked like some David Blaine magic show."
"Did you not read my report, sir?"
"Miranda, I'm a busy man. That report was over 50 pages long. I don't have time for that. Just explain."
For more than thirty years, Deniz Akbas had given fishing tours of the Bosphorus with his small boat. With his pleasant demeanor (and perhaps due to a few missing teeth lending him a certain charm) tourists had found him trustworthy as well as deeming his white-tire clad vessel seaworthy for a day’s cruise. From his pilot’s position in the wooden front compartment, travelers to Istanbul had relaxed in the glass-walled and ivory-benched area in the back where they enjoyed whatever food and drink they’d brought aboard inside their many baskets - all while marveling at the magnificent views of the Turkish seaside and the wide bridge connecting Asia to Europe, a construction officially known as the 15 July Martyrs Bridge and unofficially as the First Bridge.
In all that time he had never been paid so much to do so little.
Always Stay Loving, Perry I grew up overshadowed by steep oceans
Couldn't catch the eye of no city boy
Here I am devoted to Perry
How I love the way you look in your grey jeans
Can't believe I let the smog cloud my eye
Where the steep oceans stand
And the vast hills surround
I'll ride my brown truck with you by my side
There's a whisper in the Oxfordshire breeze
Reminding me of Bree
That whisper builds
That whisper cries
Bree in the morning skies
You appear on the horizon
Walking into the quad, I quickly located April amongst her little group. She was holding court with about six other girls, and had her back turned to me.
Shaking my head, I approached her. I’d finally gotten the hang of the low heels she forced me to wear. It took a bit of care to make sure I didn’t step on the swishing full dress she’d wrapped around my frame. You had to kind of kick the dress out of the way, before taking a step or you risked a tumble, and I was humiliated enough already without adding that little cherry on the sundae.

Armageddon
What happened next, none of us expected, and I none of us could have ever dreamed of in our wildest dreams. But somehow the fact that Cerridwen was transgender got out. I mean, I'm also transgender too. But I'm not as open as she is about it. I was dismayed when that little bit of news broke. I expected that would take all the wind from our sails and our so far united effort would fall apart piece by piece. But as history proved me wrong.

Marcia is seventeen, and along with Darryl, has moved south in Alaska to attend the Anchorage campus of the Alaska State University. She wants to pursue her dream, but will it pursue her instead? When
Sammy was three years old, his biological parents were killed in a
freak accident at a 4th of July fireworks show. For quite some time,
it seemed as though he hadn't remembered the event, but
looking at the drawing on his wall, it was obvious that the images
were inside his mind.
An unseen force pulled my braid harshly, forcing me up onto my tiptoes. If I extended as far as possible with my calves, I could slightly relieve some of the pressure. I gripped the hair and engaged some of my core strength.
“Ow!” I said as she held me up in front of her with her power. The weight bar stayed firmly embedded in the ceiling, which meant she held us both with her magical iron strength.
“Fool!” she screamed in my face, her eyes were inky black orbs fastened to me. “Your job is to always accompany me and be punctual!”
"I get the picture: The processing center looks at my old world and my new world and asks each one if they want me."
"That's a good way to put it. Then, if you're a no-go in both directions, they give you their whole-new-life bit. It's a package deal: a new name, a Greyhound bus ticket, and the offer of a shitty job that you'd never take. They walk you to the door, tell you the world is your oyster, and give you a great big swat on the butt, 'cause it's your birthday."
Hello patient readers. Here's the long awaited next chapter in which Jamie goes on more shopping trips, has a heart-to-heart talk with his mother, and Megan finds herself in a troubling situation. And much more. Thanks to the wonderful Tracy Davis, aka shesgotleggs, for critiquing and editing help.
Jamie woke to a hand shaking his shoulder.
"Wakey, wakey, sleepy head."
Jamie pushed the sheet back from his neck and tried to roll over but tangled himself in the covers. His mother looked down on him, grinning, already dressed and made up for work.

"Huh!"
I wasn't used to getting grabbed from behind, especially in a red dress and pumps.
"Ha, you and I are so alike, we're touchy, we're feely, we're grabby and runny and smelly, haha." Martyn was meeting me at his favorite luncheonette. We were going to discuss dinner plans.

I hope you enjoy this preview of my sixth book! Please note, only the first few chapters will be posted on BCTS. The entire 18-chapter, ~40,000 word novel is available on Amazon.
CHAPTER 57
The place we were based at was indeed a clone of the Brenin, with extras in some ways, and surprising omissions in others. The dorms were larger, and we ended up all in one ’gender-neutral’ bunkhouse affair, which demanded a certain finesse in dressing and undressing. Looking at the rows of bunks, I remembered all those jokes about ‘The Promise’ and blessed my Dad’s insistence that I travelled with a little box of reusable foam earplugs.
Sure, Peaches is small and cute and makes a lovely girl; everyone says so. But Sky? More than six feet of champion male athlete and he wants to be a girl? How is that going to work? Can even Peaches help? Are Sky's hopes too high?
Adrenaline surged...daring every sensory organ in my body to absorb the tiniest nuances of my first day out in public dressed as a woman. I touched the velvety skin on my wife's arm. "I'm so lucky!"
"Lucky?" Nicole shook her head in obvious bewilderment. "You've always wanted to be a woman," she had accurately said nearly eight months ago.
