“Are you certain this is the right path?”

Two figures crept down a narrow underground passageway, shoes slipping across shallow puddles lining the curved concrete floor. Their coats, one jet black and the other a lighter brown, flickered in the weak light offered only by a white crystal held forward by the taller and much darker-skinned man.

“They didn’t provide a map, Callas. I told you the same instructions they told me, and your memory is as perfect as mine. If you think we’ve misapplied the sequence, you should’ve spoken up.”

“Hmm.”

I head to do some running around after I bought my books and head home to my place and after I set out the ones that her blurbs and quotes made me want to read first I get myself ready for a good sit down and reading session.

Now for me that’s actually a nice pot of tea. I make a good sized pot of Red Rose and grab my favorite mug and turn on my radio to the town radio station. I like local radio, it tells me what’s going on more and more thee days and they play the real stuff that people are listening to.

Just a brief explanation to say I'm rather pre-occupied with nursing my father-in-law who is dying aged 93.

I attend this guy some 16 to 18 hours per day because I am so fond of the man. When I married his daughter, he became my surrogate father and I often turned to him for advice with emotional stuff and rearing our children. He is a wonderful man and I've been attending him since just before Christmas as he makes the long goodbye. Needless to say, all other stuff like cycling and big closet had been put 'on the back burner' until he dies.
I love this man to bits!!!
