Chris Heaven's Point of View (POV)

I sat in the waiting room thinking while trying to remain calm. The world had changed so much since my youth. I was nearing seventy now and was probably the oldest client to ever approach 'The Catalyst' as she liked to be called. I almost snorted at the ridiculousness of the world.

“Why me!?” John exploded.

“You are his brother,” came the dulcet tones of the construct speaking to us.

I was still living and working permanently as Lexie, regularly going out with Jim, and it was becoming a strain trying to avoid a physical relationship. I still had not told him that I was still a man, despite my appearance and the way I acted, and was not inclined to test him with a proposal for a gay relationship, but my life as a man was becoming a distant memory.

I always wanted to be Wonder Woman.
Was never a fan of Supergirl…or Marvel comics…a lot of plunging necklines but not a lot of character development which really sucks, but, hey, to each their own.
Magic lasso that tells the truth?
Yes, please.
The ability to fly?
I’ll take the invisible jet or the power to skip around the clouds. I’m not picky like that.

A week and a half after mum said I could be her "secret girl", she quietly shook me awake in the bedroom I shared with my younger brother Paul.

The feeling of being cold from the chill in the air was only a minor inconvenience to Ric Ridley as he was walking to The Hideaway, the neighborhood bar. This did not matter to him. Ric was soon going to be warmed up by seeing all of his old friends. Tonight was going to be the first time they were all able to get together in at least 4 years. None of them returning home after college made it hard to meet up as a group. Thinking of that fact made the man who just turned 28 realize how quickly life went by.

I heard the front door close. The noise of my brothers laughing and bouncing the football carried through my bedroom window. I heard my father say.

“Be careful of the road.”

As they made their way to the park to kick the ball about.

I had told them I just want to play in my bedroom.

“Ok, suit yourself.”

“You’ve got the gown on backwards,” said Dr. Verre.

Everyone wants definite boundaries in life. Fire burns, ice is cold, electricity runs our appliances, lights our world, etc. Sometimes things happen that can't be explained. And sometimes humans exceed their own limits, such as the daughter who lifted a BMW off her father after the jacks failed and the car fell with him under it. Who or what helped her lift the car or did she do it alone?

This story is set in Torrey Grover's Educating Special Boys in the Feminist Republic universe and references Beverly Taff's , The Feminine Queendom, set in the same universe.

[At a Conference Centre in Birmingham (UK)]

“Ready for your big day?” asked Garth Samson.
He was waiting to be called onto the stage to deliver the keynote speech of the conference.
Their friend, Sally Jameson had organised the event for the Foundation that Garth had set up almost a year earlier. This was their first big event since the launch of the enterprise.

It was Sunday morning and Beth, who'd spent all her waking and sleeping hours as a girl since her mother discovered her secret, was taking extra care with her hair and makeup. She'd borrowed her mum's heated rollers and Debbie's old curling tongs. It wasn't going to plan exactly. Her makeup was easy enough but her hair just wouldn't do what she wanted, though being rather new to girl's hairstyles, she wasn't exactly sure what she wanted.

“You didn’t break your foot by kicking your boyfriend, did you?” he asked.
