Damn!

Three pretentious poems for free...espresso $4.75; $20.00 cover charge..don't forget to snap your fingers, baby!.

Hose

Oh futile expenditure; all is lost
Damn my unkempt toes
Ripping through sheerest Wolford hose*
At 38 pounds oh too dear a cost!

* * *

So What?

You said you see me
As a woman like any other
Never mind, you say
That rejection today
So what if it's from my brother! (WTF?)

* * *

Veritas

Oh vain vacancy, absence of vaginal veritas
Wishes for mammalian manners missing so far
With fairest of feminine face and form
Now new nicety as the norm
Now outside as inside the women we are….

Re: First Poem

It's not the size that matters. It's the technique.

A good pedicure doesn't hurt, either.

Hey! Where You Get Dem Pounds?

joannebarbarella's picture

That's a hell of a lot of money for a pair of stockings! Or am I missing something?

Joanne

Stockings

Yeah, and some of them stop part way up the thighs! For seventy-five dollars, I would expect a whole wardrobe of trapping gear!

And yes, my tights come from Tescos....

This is all a bit too cereberal for my taste.

Nancy Meyer? Who is she trying to con?

You can get a pair of nice quality tights (hose?) from Tesco's for £3.80.

I always said I was a low maintenance girl.

Let me get to the beat.

Really cool lady, it takes me back to the village late that night in 1957. When the wine was fine and we were so chilled that just the word and the beat made us feel there. A time my Van Dike was still on my chin and not below but what the hell that time was good and the beat still goes on, what else can an old Beat ask for? It was real...

The only bad question is the one not asked.
Were those the days ?

The only bad question is the one not asked.

Snap snap snap

From Something Else Unread

I think these are modeled after something I should have read when I was doing something I shouldn't have done.
