Coming to Netflex in August - The film adaptations of Stephanie Koenigen,
trans author and Sissy Spacek look-alike
Inspired entirely by a conversation with a Mermaid I know...
By popular demand...okay, by a contract we got roped into.... Here are some screen captures of direct-to-streaming (even before that was popular) adaptations of Ms. Koenigen's Not-so-Horror Stories....
A stereotypical guy down on his luck with no family or friends to miss him, a reporter is kidnapped and tortured by an obsessed fan who systematically feminizes him into a version of an early 1960s version of Sandra Dee
A stranded charter flight of convention-going Ontario Subaru dealers face a terrifying otherworldly presence where their reality changes as they're all suddenly transformed into models with seven inch diamond drop earrings.
At a remote hotel in Colorado a writer and his family are stranded amidst strange goings on and very ugly 1960s carpet. His wife watches in horror as her husband becomes obsessed with lingerie and is transformed into an feather duster wielding satin clad French Maid
A falsely accused young man escapes prison dressed as his own sister and settles in Port Jervis, New York where she opens a nice Second Hand Consignment Boutique
A suddenly clairvoyant young man is driven to expose corruption, He disguises himself as Loni Anderson, but an accidental beaning by a toddler playing catch with her single Mom at their apartment complex leaves him with no memory whatsoever. They fall in love and go on to do guest gigs on Dynasty, Falcon Crest, Knots Landing, and Dallas.
And finally.... A neurotic CPA watches too many End-of-the-World movies. In a silly misadventure he ends up taking his pre-menopausal wife's progesterone at bedtime instead of his Prozac after they casually switch sides of their bed, and he eventually becomes her stay-at-home Maid.
Corrie was written and directed by Kristine Roland and produced by Joanne Barbarella. Executive producer - Alison Murdoch. Not-so-executive Producer - Andrea DiMaggio. A Movin'Dirt/AussieNana joint production. Netflex is a wholly owned subsidiary of Transbitches, Ltd. This is Bobbie Cabot speaking

giggles
nice stuff, Drea.
It's Not My Fault!
Honest! I had no part in transforming all those stupid men into gorgeous women, but they deserved it!
"Danny's not here, Mrs. Torrence."
"Danny, what are you doing? Why are you dressed like that?"
"Danny's not here, Mrs. Torrence. I'm Danielle now."
"Oh God! First your father and now you? And where did you even get girl's dress and those Mary Janes? And who fixed your hair like that?"
"The pretty ghost girls helped me. They're so nice.... RED DESS! RED DRESS!!!"
"What the hell is going on in this crazy hotel? Jack is acting so strange, sitting in there giggling and typing I ENJOY BEING A GIRL for page after page... Shit, I should've married Bluto when I had the chance!"
Fun stuff, Drea, We're just a couple of Needful Things but Misery loves company and I know you'll always Stand By Me. I just wish I was Thinner.

What borders on stupidity?
Canada and Mexico.

When I saw the titile...
I wondered if Drea had started watching what we call 'Corrie' aka 'Coronation Street' which is a UK TV Soap
Thankfully the result was a lot more entertaining.

Well...
I happen to like this version more than the original!!! Although I never cared much for the appellation 'sissy'...as many of us haven't...I did make one exception for Sissy. ;D Brava...and I await this latest incarnation anxiously!!!
Could it be another...
