Just spotted this news item on a media page here in the U.K. Apparently Johnny Depp would like to play Carol Channing. Don't know if this is old news to people out there but it's the first I have heard about it.

My thanks to everybody who replied to my question about the best ever story published on Bigcloset/Topshelf...Its certainly pointed me in the direction of many stories that i could have missed without all your replies... One thing is for sure its going to take me a long time to read through them all, But i'm sure i'll enjoy it.

So i was flipping through TV today and i came across Maury Povich which i normally avoid because i think he just exploits people pain for profit but today's show was about Tg mtf teens which i thought was tastefully done.

If you are going to do something do it right? At least I think that was the name of the story.It was about a girl who lived with her grandfather who died and started going to school as a girl.

Ever tried sleeping when you have raging toothache and an abcess that just will not go? This is the second time in two weeks this has happened to me, Both times at the weekend....And don't you just know it...The dentist does'nt open again till Monday... Which is why you find me here writing on my blog, Just trying to keep my mind off the pain in my mouth!!! And hoping against hope that this time the painkillers work!

well with all the rain we have gotten in two days my parents basement and alot of the neghbors one also have flooded thank fully i had a pond pump to try and keep pumping the water out so as not to destroy to much thank fully but my sisters house has about 6 inches of water in their basement i am so sick of rain so instead of having fun tomorrow i get to clean abasement on my day off instead ugh

As is normal for me, i do most of my reading of stories on this great site late in the evening, so that means when i come to make comments i'm kinda tired,which explains why the following morning you'll find me busy editing out all my stupid mistakes from the previous night is it just me trying to be too perfect or do other commentors do the same?

I'm sure that somebody somewhere must know why when i've got onto the net my computer just will not go past the first page it loads and just keeps saying 'not responding' when you try to acess any other site it's just so... frustrating!!!!

I was doing my weekly check of the jewlbox and found one listed 4 years ago. It is called Illiana by Kay Lavander. The prologue is not even listed on her author's page. She posted 2 segments of what is supposed to be an epic length novel, and then nothing. Has anyone seen her or it around anywhere else. Does anyone know if she ever posted anymore. I haven't gotten into the story yet, but it looks as if it might be interesting with all the other magic stories that have been done recently.

Subject Line of Comments and Revealing the Story Content.

Sometimes the subject line of a comment can give away an important element of the story.

There is a resident "expert" on all things on BC, I won't name him because I doubt I need to. Yesterday he made a statement, the subject line said "Every US soldier has the option not to go", followed by pointing out that under the army's "Don't ask, don't tell" policy, a soldier who said he or she was gay would be discharged from the service. Since most soldiers are not gay, I took that to mean he thought it was alright to lie to get out of military service, and said so.

I wa reading something this morning, and saw this:

"She was wearing a dress in blue velour, with three quarter length sleeves...."
