When Poppy's grandfather dies, her father inherits his childhood home in Happy Springs, New Hampshire. He decides to take his three daughters from England on their first trip to the land of his birth to fix up the house as a potential summer home and give Poppy a break from some problems she's been having. He says it's an old house that just needs a little work to restore it back to its full glory. It's going to be fun fixing it up. Poppy isn't so sure...

This is the story of a high school senior that takes a part-time job for Halloween, and finds himself. I started writing this story a few years ago, and then my muse went away. I don't know if she's back or not, but I just felt that I needed to finally finish this story. Noticing how quickly I was becoming comfortable with both my new body and my environment irritated me. Looking at my reflection from a rather dirty mirror only made things worse. I was as Asian as anyone else around here. My body was curved to perfection and without much inspection I could already see I was extremely attractive. I also looked rather young, like 16 or so. I suppose in this culture I could be considered a young adult, but even that made me feel a little uncomfortable.

Looking at myself I wanted to shout every expletive I knew. I tried to remember sentences and fragments of old English, but I couldn’t, only reinforcing my unfortunate predicament. It literally was all foreign to me. I’m guessing that anything I’ve learned from a later life can’t be remembered in this one. As in fact, the only thing I could remember was that I was a man.

Jess Stone had breasts. He had been like this his entire teen life not quite fitting in anywhere that he had lived and at the same time he hadn’t really had the chance to. His folks moved around a lot with his dad being a hydrological engineer but they were slightly afraid of what might happen to Jess if he attended school. Some people just didn’t get it or wanted too. Jess was now attending a new school when he decided to change things...

Only it was everyone else that was getting changed!

This posting was inspired by the recent posting of a new to BC Bikini Beach story by Elrod. I've always been a big BB fan, and have written two of them myself, with Elrod's Okay. One is already here, "If I Should Die Before I Wake", but this one apparantly never made it from Fictionmania to here. I posted it there in 2000, so, after twelve years, here is my new to BC BB offering. Thanks, Elrod for the Bikini Beach stories and all of your other fine stories. You're one of the best.

I called James’ office first thing even though it was still slightly before eight there. I think honestly it was the adrenaline and the lift that I’m riding on from the sunrise and all the cuddling and kissing that gives me the strength to get back into the house with just my arm canes after I see Will off in the cab that he called.

This story is the first part of my story, "The Girl With The Mini," and although it is the first of three-parts, it has an ending, sort of.   I'll continue it when there's more time.   As it is, I have to thank Sephy for extending the deadline enough so I can get this first part posted in time for the contest.

This story is an official entry to the "September/October 2012 Reconciliation Story Contest," and is actually a fictionalized version of parts of my own life, circa 2004 - 2006.   Perhaps 75% true-to-life and the rest changed around so it'll be a better story. Needless to say, liberties were taken to change the names, many of the details, and some of the events. The story is about how Zoe, our protagonist, deals with how relationships can sometimes end, and from there, how a new life can begin.

I hope that you will like the story, and I hope that you will be gentle. Thanks!

Museum would almost be a more accurate description, but for the scatter of professional-grade tools throughout making it more a hodgepodge of the two with workshop thrown in the mix.

Robin had been staring for quite some time at the FBI van when the door from the house slowly opened, and Nikki stepped out.

“What’s on your mind?” she asked thoughtfully.
