Nicole’s tipping back a skin and was drinking when she looks at me and she laugh-chokes and spits wine through her nose.

The setting and character were inspired by a story Julie O wrote; Frseh Start. The first 2 or 3 chapters were too close and I apologize to the readers, Big Closet, and Julie O. I have re written chapters 2-6 to avoid that as much as possible.

I also wanted to apologize for taking so long to get this out but medical issues and frozen water pipes will do that to a schedule. It is mostly edited and ready to go. You may need to read chapter 1 again.

In this chapter Atalanta adjusts to living as a girl. Both mother and daughter struggle with their new relationship and Atalanta is given a brief look at a mystery of her transformation.

*Before…

Anika Christenson is glaring daggers at me as I take a seat and look at everyone.
“Hey…”
Everyone does their “Hey’s” and I get a few hugs and a whole bunch of envelopes with what looks like cards for me and stuff.
I look at Jen. “What’s with Anika?”
Cindy holds up the school newspaper.
There’s the lists of people with their picture on there that are running for Homecoming Queen and King and there’s pictures of Alex there which…? I mean I didn’t think that he was into that but I guess he was maybe when he was with Jen.
And my picture is right beside his.

………………….. “Sonofabitch!”

*And Now…

When the rescue party rendezvous with Karen and Hicks at the desert escarpment, Karen Shaw soon learns that surviving the desert conditions may be the least of her problems.

CHAPTER 16
I didn’t have time to really poke around asking people what they thought of Evans’ and Pritchard’s fall from grace, but there were enough people seeming to go out of their way to give me a little nod or smile. I suppose that is what people like those two arseholes never see. I was sitting with my lover in a tea shop a few days later, and the man at the next table was reading the Daily Mail.

*Before…

Y’know before…the crowd cheering was just a kind of a meh thing…I never really connected fully with the emotional stuff back then before I transitioned and now with Taylor and Giselle cheering me on it feels just…

It feels exactly like they’re cheering. “Yay Mommy…!”

I’m swallowing a lump and happy tears as I get a big roll of tickets from the guy at the booth and I go over to him and her and slip into this really awesome double hug and this three way head rub.

*And Now…

In the not too distant future, evolution has taken humanity down a different path. In a society where gender is controlled with numbers, one young man finds that being evolved might not be such a good thing.

Alex, Jack, and Ricky Lynn’s trip to the future continues as the trio learns more about their future selves. The cure for Randi Van Pelt’s mysterious illness is just as strange. Alex goes on her first mission as ‘Empress’ and finds that sometimes, they don’t end as expected. Which is more of a headache: the missions, friends, or family, and can the pharmaceutical companies keep up with the demand for aspirin?

CHAPTER 15
I was double-crewed with Kev in a car the afternoon and evening of their piss-up, and we were indeed kept well out of the area. The pub wasn’t somewhere Dad ever went, so rather than a repeat of the argument the night Sarah got raped, I simply stayed quiet about it.

I’m still shaking and crying as she leads me to the rental car parked nearby and my things are inside. She gets me inside and carefully closes the door and we start driving away from the hospital, away from Alex and my hopes.
