I don't know why I have to keep several series going on at once, but this one's been burning a hole in my brain for a while. Do Over almost went this way, but found it's own identity. If you haven't seen the Bruce Willis film "The Kid", you won't know the plot anyway, but you really should rent it.

Alice woke at her usual time, feeling uncomfortable as usual and just as so many days before, a beautiful distended heavily pregnant tummy was as large and heavy as it was the day before and the day before that, but it wasn't a discomfort she disliked, no, instead she felt so wonderful and complete inside. She looked every inch a very pretty mid 30's woman in the blossom of pregnancy, subtle very fine lines of age surrounded her eyes and only added to her glamour.

I performed a thorough search of the house. One November First morning the mailman knocked on her door to deliver a package, and the door opened to reveal Mother Hubbard, dangling naked from a rope in the middle of her living room. She hadn't written any kind of suicide note, and the police had noted that it would have been impossible for her to stand on anything that high up. The case remained open, even to this day, as they could not ascertain how anyone could have hung a rope from a fifteen foot high beam.
