As the week continues, then comes to an end and Allie's life goes on, decisions must be made.
How will Allie's life be lived? How honest will Allie be with the rest of the world?
John goes to the Halloween party dressed as Alice in Wonderland and has a great time,
but he has a nagging feeling of guilt because he's keeping secrets from Blaine.
Miss Stephanie makes several more appearances, too.
The week at the ski lodge in New Hampshire continues as does Alice's tutelage of Allie.
I never know if anyone will like these stories until I post them.
The quiet hum of monitors filled David’s hospital room, the soft beeping marking the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. His mother and Emma had just stepped out for coffee, leaving him alone in his still-unconscious state. The fluorescent lights above cast a pale glow over his motionless form.
The peace was shattered when one of the machines began to emit a shrill, rapid alarm. A nurse, passing by the door, rushed in to check the monitors. Her eyes widened as she read the rapidly climbing numbers on the screen.
David found himself in a dream once more, but this time, it wasn’t the chaos of war that surrounded him. Instead, he was in a tranquil meadow bathed in soft golden light. The grass beneath him felt cool and soft, and the air was warm, carrying a faint floral scent that was both calming and unfamiliar.
The first three knew better than to play for money when Zora had a cue stick in her hand, and they’d been kind enough to warn Biggo off before he learned the hard way. Which is to say, the expensive way.
Deeper and deeper into the femininity of a young teenager, Bebe deals with a lot.
A successful debute of the TV show, a conniving teacher, meeting his boyfriend's mother,
shopping with girlfriends and a Halloween party at St Mark's Boy's School. Oh, the busy schedule of a pretty girl!
Allie goes away with his wife and sister and decides that skiing is not his cup of tea.
Thank you for the comments on Part 1. I'm very happy that the story is finding a home with some people.
In the coldest of air we gathered at the top of the Spires. Out of the rock face a matching henge to its counterpart at the embassy in Dis had long ago been excavated, though this one was not currently pockmarked from the insult of repeated energy blasts, having been resurfaced after its own checkered history. Twitch and Horatio stood at my side, while Vance, leaning on a short-yet-distinguished onyx cane and shivering underneath the thickest of silver-furred coats, had been busy examining all the sigils and workings carved into the stones - ensuring that each was still properly aligned.
An insecure salesperson struggles to make ends meets. When trouble strikes, kismet intervenes.
As readers of my stories know, I move slowly. So if you're looking for instant gratification,
this is probably not the story for you. I hope someone likes it, though.
Now that twenty one year old John, disguised as fourteen year old Bebe,
has begun going steady with Blaine, he has to examine his feelings more closely,
as well as dealing with the opinions of others..
On Monday December 9th of this year, I was asked by my daughter Karen’s history teacher to address his class on my experience with the Immigration/Naturalization process. Normally I turn down such requests because for the last 40 years I have seen myself as an American. This year though is different for a few reasons, and I agreed. The biggest reason is this year marks the 40th anniversary the beginning of not only my journey to becoming the woman I am today but my path of becoming an American citizen. When my daughter Karen heard my story during her class she informed me that I should share my story here at BC.
Life has some certainties, birth and death of course, but the rest is a mix of Minestrone and Spaghetti, some of which we have no direct influence over. We can however decide whether we want Parmesan or other seasoning, we can give Gnochi a try, doesn't mean we'll like it but at least we'll know. Gaby has reached just such a point in her life, she knows she likes Pizza, she's not averse to Spaghetti or Lasagne but is Gnochi for her? The Gnochi in this case is doing the singing with BlauHase on a more serious level, as a 'hobby' its fine but could this be a change of career? Well you don't find out without trying so that's just what our heroine is about to find out in this, the 27th book of the Gaby saga.
I didn’t recognise the place. I mean they’d had a chance to clean up, sure, but what they’d achieved was close to miraculous.
Someone had carried me to a bed after Stuart had delivered us back to the barracks. Someone had done the same for all of slayer squad and Laurel, and we’d all slept through the next twenty-four hours.
Which meant when we woke it was to a very different world.
An
unexpected day of puzzles for many. Ketko confuses Ursula again,
no-one knows if Lars can marry Nethra, and both Ursula and Eriana
have received unexpected letters from King Robanar! The day ends with
an ominous sighting.
"I wish men could have that experience," Camille said.
"... of being looked at like a piece of meat."
She managed to keep the edge of resentment out of her voice.
"That wouldn't work." Laura responded. "It wouldn't help at all.
Men would *love* being seen like meat, and being treated as sexual objects.
In their minds, it would work in their favor."
As the debut of his TV series approaches, over worked John becomes more and more
the fourteen year old girl he agreed to become. Blaine has some news and an offer, too.
Why is this a day late? I have no idea! I must have messed up the up-load some how. I am so sorry, but MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE everyone! Whether you observe or not, it's still Christmas Eve. So, to the synopsis: Now what? Deedee had found her true self and that had led to friends, love and happiness, but the pettiness of a rich rival had torn that all away. So what happens when her friends and classmates find out she's not 'really' a girl. What happens when Willie finds out? Will it matter if Dr Martin loses her position at Greenwood Academy? Let's find out!!!
First, he shrank. Not dramatically so – this wasn’t like Honey I Shrunk the Kids or Alice in Wonderland or anything. He was very far from Dwarf height, either. At most, he lost a foot and change in stature, enough so that his eye line was now below the picture mounted on the wall in front of him, whereas just moments before he could look directly at it without having to crane his neck back.
The training team is back with some new challenges and a plot against them.
Author's note: Some plot elements of this story follow up on the events of my story Of Pranks and Finals, which is on the Whateley site but has not been posted on Big Closet. That story was co-written with other authors, so I did not feel it appropriate to post that one here myself.
Double
A Short Story (or a Pocket Novel for holiday reading?)
By Maryanne Peters
Chapter 1
“I understand that you may have known Ivan Sergeivich Molonovsky,” said the man they simply knew as Grozny – the man in charge of deployments.
“We were not close, but I remember him,” said Kiril. It was a lie. He had known Ivan well. They trained together because the two of them were the smallest in the whole intake. But the rumor was that Ivan had betrayed the Soviet Union, and it was best to deny any association.
When 8-year-old Jamie stumbles upon a strange machine, a single interaction changes her life—she emerges as a girl with no explanation. Struggling to adjust, Jamie becomes obsessed with uncovering the truth about the machine. As she digs deeper, she uncovers cryptic clues, hidden conspiracies, and whispers of others who were changed before her. But the more she learns, the more she questions if her transformation was an accident—or part of something far bigger. In this suspenseful mystery, Jamie must confront not only the machine’s secrets but the deeper question of who she’s meant to be.
Five weeks into his time at Greenwood Academy, four weeks into the school musical,
lots of new friends, a new found appreciation for all things girlish, a sweet boy who likes him... what could go wrong? Well... lots, apparently! Let's see how Deedee copes with some adversity in this installment!! Heheh!
Still finding his way through the world of a fourteen year old girl,
twenty year old John continues his life as a high school freshman and his career
as an actress on a TV show with a major star in the lead.
A group of people wake up in a video game world and are forced to work together to survive and find out how to escape.
The group follows the map searching for answers and things only get worse…
This is the last full chapter I had written before I started posting this, so future chapters will likely take a bit longer. However not too long as I have everything lined out already just not the in between moments.

“Tammy, I love what that magical wreath did to me.” Sara loved her new elven body as she looked at her reflection in the full-length mirror.
“I’m glad you like your new body because I hate what it did to me.” Tammy walks up and stands next to Sara.
The magic from the ancient Christmas wreath they found had changed both. Where Sara was turned into a five-foot-six-inch busty, curvy female elf, she was turned into a female elf who resembled Judy from the Tim Allen Santa Claus movies.
After he runs afoul of a sinister body swapper, a world-weary detective with a shady past finds himself trapped in the body of a beautiful and brazen stripper. But as his mind starts to fade and hers begins to take over, he soon realizes that he only has 24 hours left to live before he fades away entirely. 24 hours to solve his own murder and bring his killer to justice. (A tale of Faraday City.)
