I was walking home in the dark when suddenly I got hit by a truck. Or at least I like to think I got hit by a truck. The last thing I saw was a bright light in the corner of my vision then darkness.

Well, here I am, in another world. Son of a bitch. I’m even a baby. Now, I have to lay here for about four years to even be able to walk. I hate waiting. Well, it’s not all bad, my mother is a fox. I mean literally, a fox. Well, more of a quarter fox from what I can see. Some type of demi-human with fox ears and a tail.

How much of a woman?

How much of a woman could I make myself into – on the outside? I’m fifty, fat and full of wheeze – as a vulgar version of the song goes. And how can I satisfy girl-inside – who has been hiding since I was a kid. Was I aiming to be an old age mutton-dressed-as-lamb girly, or a strong woman-of-age?

A Halloween Princess, a Halloween witch, and a regular dad were walking down the street from house to house on Halloween. There were so many of these Halloween characters, moms, and dads out on the street as the sun was going down. It was a good thing that normally this was a quiet street, because the kids were running back and forth across from one side of the street to the next. They were trying to hit as many houses as they could before it got dark.

I have done some crazy stuff in my life, but this ... takes the cake.

No, I’m not going to go into what else I’ve done. They are tales for another day, and this is the story I want to tell today, the story of my craziest, and most recent moment of madness.

It started when I went to the local college to look at some continuing education classes. I was struggling a little with my job, and thought maybe I could find something that would lead to something better once I had the training.

And then I saw David.

It all started in the fifth grade...

After I wrote the London trilogy, I realized I had overlooked something. I wrote this a week ago after I looked at the schedule. While it really isn't part of the Alexa story line I thought it would be fun. Thanks again to Debbie V for allowing me to 'kidnap' a few of her characters.

However, he quickly realizes that things are not as they seem and that neither Rebecca nor Joe are giving him the full story. As Frank continues to dig into his past, he will ultimately face hard truths and shocking revelation.

After the incidents with Tom and his friend Fred, I decided that I had to be careful. I had acquired a girlfriend and, other than babysitting jobs, I did not appear outside in feminine attire. This was protective camouflage; to the outside world I was just a regular teenage boy.

“If we’re going as a couple, who’s the girl, or do you plan on two boys as a couple? I don’t think that would be a good idea, Rumors would be sure to follow,” I said.

Thanksgiving can be a hectic time for most families, and mine was no exception.

Melissa slipped behind a car, trusting the dark parking garage to hide her. In her hands was a silver collar, clutched tightly against her chest. The woman who’d given it to her had been very specific with the instructions. She was to place this collar around the neck of a man - it would only work on a male - and then stand back. And she would get the pet of her dreams. Simple, easy and straightforward. All she had to do was take away a man’s life into her hands…

“Young lady, you aren’t allowed in the pool without something on top,” commanded the life guard at our community pool. I looked around to see to whom he was talking. “You, yes you,” he added, pointing at me.

“But I’m a boy, not a girl, so I don’t have to wear a top,” I complained.

“Are you sure? Isn’t your name Emily?” he asked.

“No, she’s my sister. We sorta look alike,” I answered.
