The move

Spring break wasn’t as much fun as it could have, that is, should have been. You’d think that when your mother won the lottery for 1.7 million dollars, that you’d be doing something really great on spring break. But no, my sister, Lucy, and I were packing boxes. Mom had this really weird idea. She grew up on the farm and thought there was nothing more wholesome than living on a farm. She sold the house and between her first year's annuity check and the equity in the house, she bought twenty acres with a house and an old fashion barn.

As the curtain for the first act began to close, a group of about 25 dressed in fashionable dresses and high heels were first to the lobby. When the other theater goers came out they found them in a long line going into the room labeled “MEN”.

As Larry's night begins he is all too pleased with the results, but that pleasure soon turns into something else.

This is the sixth story set in the "Timber Grove" series, but it is a stand alone story that you can follow without having read any other stories in the series. This story in particular deals with betrayals on varying levels, so those looking for a light romp should beware.

Introduction: Tommie has an appointment with her doctor. Things start out quite well. The doctor is a bit surprised by her development and then things get a bit strange. Tommie’s ability to converse with animals comes to the forefront.

I poured a cup of coffee and gave it to Gwen.

She disappeared into the bedroom to give it to Sandra.

Ten seconds later, there was a scream and a lot of swearing coming from that part of the flat.

Then it went silent.

Thirty seconds later, Sandra emerged from the room carrying the coffee cup.

“Why didn’t you wake me up before this?”
