Crazy Core Gym, Upper East Side, New York:
Teela and Emily arrive at the address they were given. They looked at the building in front of them and couldn’t believe that it used to be some sort of warehouse.
“Are you sure you have the right address, Teela?” Emily looks at her friend.
“I’m sure. This is the address Jester gave me. She also gave me the entrance code as well.” Teela walked into the small foyer and noticed there was a metal keypad with black numbers and letters.
In this chapter, Emily navigates a day filled with grief and reflection as she bids farewell to her mother. Amidst the weight of the occasion, small moments of kindness and support from those around her offer glimpses of comfort and strength, helping her take the first steps toward healing.
My uncle was a religious man. When I say religious, I mean that he claimed to be a Christian. He claimed to live his life by the principles preached by Christ and his church. He claimed to be good.
When I say my uncle, I mean that he was the husband of my aunt – my mother’s much younger sister. That meant that he was not my uncle by blood nor was he more than about 10 years older than me.

A double today! Both chapters were almost done, so I figured I might as well push them both out while I have the motivation, short as it may be. This story's plot isn't quite as planned out as the other two, though. Enjoy!
Things are slowly picking up, and yet only just beginning... enjoy!
The room went silent in an instant. Heads snapped to the main doorway, where an imposing figure in the same black armor as always strode closer. Hands raised in clean salutes as he passed by each table, and as the man stopped right next to mine I dropped my fork and attempted a messy salute - I was doing my best. He smirked at me.
A sequel to the Gun Princess Royale. Yanked off the streets of New Angeles by the tenebrous Pantheon organisation, and gifted with a deadly avatar known as a Diva, Nikola 'Sola' Raynar is a Lanfear - a huntress of Bloodliners and Wolvren. When she isn't hunting down the denizens of the night, she's busy finding ways to build up her nest egg for the day of her retirement from Pantheon. But when her rampant greed carries her a little too far, she finds herself in a mess that wasn't entirely of her own making.
Paul replies “ yes and these Amazon girl are stronger than you now”. Greg says “ I cant get over how that act like sweet girls but they have strength now and their beauty beyond a joke and we now under Amazon women control”. Teacher saw the boys talking and said “ gentlemen please be quiet”. The boys shut up for the rest of the class.
Clenching my jaw against the pain, I stifled an anguished gasp but couldn’t help wheezing a little as I stood up on the wrecked balcony.
I could only think of one reason why the countdown had been trimmed by ten minutes.
Looking northward in the direction of the Promenade, I saw smoke trailing out of its stern as it drifted leisurely toward the tall tower with thin branch-like arms reaching up for the sky.
Ah…so that’s why.
The time penalty was probably for shooting at the Promenade.
Another Side of My Life – Chapter 15
By Julie D Cole
I decided that I should wash my hair whilst in the shower since the free bathroom products were good quality and smelled much nicer than those I’d brought from home. I didn’t lock the bathroom door as I expected privacy. I was wrong.

The citizens for the Human Empire of this border region are loyal to the last man, woman, and child to the Empire. It was on one of these worlds that gave birth to a legend. Rachel was watching the main road that leads into the ranch from her perch. She knew everyone has been placed in their position. She looks through her scope and spot three people walking up the driveway.
“Where the hell did you guys come from?” Rachel knew they weren’t there a few seconds ago.
“Bart, I have two men and one woman walking up the driveway.” She continues to watch them.
“Arabella, send a drone towards that area.” Bart was up on the hill and was looking down towards the main driveway.
Vivienne’s not so good day wasn’t over. At a little after seven that evening the front door bell rang.
As she entered the hallway, Vivienne could see two figures through the frosted glass on the door. It was either someone trying to convert her to their religion or it was her beloved daughters. For once, she really hoped that the former had chosen to try their luck with her rather than her daughters.
If it was the latter then it was to be expected given the virtual deluge of calls and messages that had been sent in her direction since the phone call with her daughter just before Betty's Funeral.
Felicity was in Paris she was watching Mina Harper and was on her way to hopefully find the vampire relic for me she was acting like her former self a nun and if Felicity is successful she will become a demon like the others. Emily had left for Torronto to take up her new position as premier of Canada. Elisa was on her way to Atlanta Georgia.

Kevins’ list of ports had been very sparse. It seems that Drake never bothered to describe the odd places he stopped at to replenish. All of his exploits seemed to happen ‘off the coast of’ and the only certain landings were in the San Francisco Bay, which he claimed for the Queen and called ‘New Albion’, and the Molucca Islands (otherwise known as the Spice Islands).
Los Angeles International Airport:
Emily covers up a yawn as she stood on the arrival side, looking for her boyfriend. He was supposed to pick her up at the airport. She had caught an early flight from Houston, Texas back to California.
She had finished a three-day show in Houston. Her equipment was already at the airport and the moving team her mentor Sasha uses was picking it up and taking it back to the warehouse. Just as she was about to call her boyfriend, she spots his car coming towards her. She watches as he pulls up in front of her.
I headed to the front of the house. Aunt Carman was in her chair, cup of coffee in her hand. She was wearing a gray and white sleep set.
Turning to me, she had a mad look on her face. Just like Mom's you are in deep trouble look. Dad calls it the Mom look. What had I done? I didn't know.
“Well, Missy. What did I tell you to do after you closed the bathroom door?”

The

"Yeah.
I've got a lot of questions."
"’How
is this possible?’
I've really got no idea. If I did, I'd be a millionaire."
"Okay.
How..."
"Do
I know what you're thinking and doing all the time? You've
considered that. Remember what Sherlock Holmes said." His
Grandfather held out his hand, inviting Greg to complete the thought.
"When
you've exhausted all the other possibilities, then the impossible, no
matter how crazy, must be the answer."
Cathy always tries to mind her business, unfortunately business doesn't give her the same respect. In fact it goes out of its way to send a fresh helping of drama her way in the shape of a three-year-old force of nature named Jemima.
Can she really help the girl, save the dormice and look after her nearest and dearest all at the same time?

Danny's Perdition: It’s the 24th century and Danny has discovered that his work for the government has several times condemned people to termination. The newest suspect has been thoroughly transformed by a department called “Visual Perfection,” and now Danny must do his duty, once again. Would traveling across the continent in an antique machine offer a realistic alternative?
Also included A Dollar Short: Tilford has a dead-end job. The idea that someone would offer him a great position seems alien.
