Adventures of Sara: Evolving into femininity

What does summer camp, college, the Caribbean and cross-dressing have in common? Sara! "As a young boy there were no boys in our rural neighborhood."

Story revision - I felt bad about leaving Sara hanging at the end of the story so I added 7,100 words to tie up loose ends. Rather than adding a LONG edit post script I improved story to help Sara. CHAPTER 93
Kim was around early the next morning, which surprised me. I was getting ready to head off on the bike for the first of four days of longer delivery runs, out to Carmarthen, Haverfordwest and Llanelli, loading a flask of coffee and some ham and cheese rolls for my midday break, when she banged at the kitchen door. A couple of the girls were just washing their breakfast bowls as she entered, and the grin plastered onto her face lasted just long enough for her to say the words “Gemma let us know and… Oh.”

So our year carried on in Delhi. We rehearsed and shot scenes in English and Hindi. Aganee had flown directly here and was now working with all of us to make sure the Hindi version was right for the era as so many new words had crept in.

CHAPTER 92
I had worked on the basis of there being no pressure in getting into the club, as such places are rarely sold out. Frank had changed into much the same rig as myself, a pair of extremely well-worn jeans, a dark blue fleece jacket and some plain black trainers, clearly taking a lead from my own presentation. I didn’t tell him where we were going, but as I parked up, someone walked past in a pair of those silly patchwork trousers, a squeezebox case in hand, and he laughed in the most relaxed way he could manage.

Daniel Driver was at a low point in his life. For years, he'd been aspiring to become a police officer. He'd spent years training and learning about the duties of a police officer, but he'd ended up failing the final test. All of his education and training had been for naught. That was something I had not seen coming but, on reflection, it made perfect sense. Anu did not need to prove again that he was a great singer and proving that he was also a great actor to those who panned Bollywood films as just fluff would be irresistible.

CHAPTER 91
Bert had his own sources of information, god knows where, and he simply told me to stay home until the funeral was done. No questions, no options, just a simple and clear instruction to take what time I needed. The papers were going ballistic over what sounded like open warfare at some MCC’s ‘family-friendly event, and among all the sensationalism were an awful lot of stupid editorials demanding that Something Be Done, and I was utterly in agreement with Bert regarding my fitness to drive.

Lucy returns to Bikini Beach with her friends. Glenn Matsumoto's work leads him to an unwanted visit to Bikini Beach as well. The final four-sevenths was previously published as "Bikini Beach: Glenn Matsumoto Visits".

Decision Made - Part 2

When Beckie used that syrupy sweet voice on him, George knew that it could presage an eruption that could rivals Mount Vesuvius. He braced himself for the possible explosion and its inevitable fallout. In this case, Beckie contained her anger and calmly said, “George, go pour us a couple of stiff drinks. We need to have a talk.”

I was really looking forward to starting high school. For one thing my parents had assured me that this time we would live in the same place for at least five years. This meant that I wouldn’t have to change schools before I graduated. Just imagine, going to the same school for my entire high school experience! So far the only constant factor in my life had been the inconsistency. Ever since we moved from my ”native” Finland when I was two we never had lived in the same place for more than two years. This had really not been good for my social life.
