Crazy Core Gym, Upper East Side, New York:
Teela and Emily arrive at the address they were given. They looked at the building in front of them and couldn’t believe that it used to be some sort of warehouse.
“Are you sure you have the right address, Teela?” Emily looks at her friend.
“I’m sure. This is the address Jester gave me. She also gave me the entrance code as well.” Teela walked into the small foyer and noticed there was a metal keypad with black numbers and letters.
In this chapter, Emily navigates a day filled with grief and reflection as she bids farewell to her mother. Amidst the weight of the occasion, small moments of kindness and support from those around her offer glimpses of comfort and strength, helping her take the first steps toward healing.
After that Steve drove us home and he congratulated us on our good fortune as he drove.
Tatiana said that now we were big names we may need a more handsome driver so I said that we couldn’t get anyone more handsome than Steve so maybe we should just insist on a classier car.
That made him laugh and he said that he thought it was going to be fun driving us two around so Tatiana told him that it will be us four as we had nominated Francine and Margo as our personal assistants.
Autumn tries on several outfits as she and Carla shop. They had left the Voodoo lounge and went to some stores Carla knew well and trusted. She knew what to look for and what style best suited her body frame. All those years of playing women characters have helped her become familiar with what was practical for ordinary women to wear and what was needed for a special occasion and such.
Waking up in the dark, Josh looked around the room and saw out the window that it was night. Stretching, he felt a funny pain from his ears. Reaching up to rub his earlobes, he felt the magnetic earring fall off and onto his bed somewhere. The memory of his mother dressing him like a girl for the first time came flooding back to him. Almost getting angry about it, he then remembered the email from David and resigned himself to the fact that in order to get along with everyone, he was going to have to pretend to be the girl that everyone now expected him to be.
Last summer was the best experience I had ever had, but it had to end some time. Mom and Jenny surprisingly didn’t catch on to anything that had happened, at least nothing that they mentioned to me. I had decided to go to a college that was close to home, but I wanted to live in the dorms as it was more convenient for me. It was definitely hard being fully on my own, but I was able to get through it.
One Week Later:
Zoey and Ashley give Jack and Debbie a hug before they board the Lear Jet that was going to take them to England. They had fun while they were in Montana and visiting their uncle and aunt. Mouse gives Jack and Debbie a hug as well.
“Sorry to see you go back to England, Mouse.” Debbie holds Mouses hands.
“My vocation time is up and I can’t get an extension. My boss needs me back, because there isn’t anyone who can do what I do.” Mouse knew she was irreplaceable.
A Little Maturity
A Short Story and a Sequel to “Underage”
By Maryanne Peters
You might remember me. A couple of years ago I told my story right here – about how Grady became de-Grady-ed. And then after that, degraded.
Looking back on it now, I can see how everything went wrong. All I wanted was to experience life as an adult before I was ready. Pretending to be a girl, pretending to be Grace, gave me that.
CHAPTER 28
There were several advantages in being back home, even if it wasn’t exactly mine. We weren’t restricted to a bed and an armchair, but had access to a sofa. Music, a kitchen with snacks, and a better television, although the latter was ignored once we realised how bad daytime programming was. It did get some use for playing DVDs, though, but in the end, we spent the hours slumped together as comfortably as we could manage, given her injuries. Annie dropped by a few times, but the Woodruffs were only seen at night. Apparently, rhyolite held more charms than us, and they were making the most of it.
Lizbeth deserves more in her life.
She has the skills and knowledge.
What she is critically missing is confidence.
So much, that her friend Colette has a rather unusual and extreme solution to try.
[A stand-alone story in the "Naughty Witches" verse]
Prologue:
Hi, my name is Sasha Anderson. I just turned 12 years old last week. I'm
four foot ten inches tall, and almost 90 pounds. You may have seen photos
of me on the internet. I am a contestant in America's Hottest Teen
Transsexual Pageant, under 13 category. It's an online beauty pageant for
young transgirls. Some nasty people online have accused my mom of setting
me on the path of being a TS porn star and escort. But it's way more
complicated than that. This is a path that I choose for myself. She
I sat there stunned. “Why would I be the face of a brand?”
She looked at me almost pityingly, “Geri, sweet innocent that you are. You heard what Babs said at the dinner last night. She said that there was a campaign in the making that needed twins.”
Being in the now has the disadvantage of sometimes not seeing changes, even expected ones, until they are upon you. The past month both Luke and Mary were in the now. They were oblivious to how close her graduation was. They paid no mind to the changing of the day on the calendar. They made the unconscious decision to do so. How could they enjoy the bliss of being in the presence of the one who completes them if they knew the clock was ticking on it. That soon they would be without each other.
Josh came down the next morning, showered, clean, ready for school, and completely empty of feelings. He'd cried himself to sleep, awoke late in the night, cried himself back to sleep, and finally woke up again shortly before his alarm was set to go off. Emotionally drained, he knew that his parents would be full of questions for which he had no answers.
One Month Later: Six-Shooter Fugitive Retrieval Agency, Boulder, Colorado:
Donald looks at Melissa and her new partner William Black Hawk. He knew Maria was at the private school Melissa enrolled her in.
“How’s Maria doing?”
“She was excited about going to school this morning,” William answered for Melissa.
“That’s good. How is your hearing?” Donald knew Melissa accepted Mrs. Blake’s offer to fix her hearing, along with getting rid of a few scars that she received when she was a teenager.
Almost Halloween, on a rainy day near Buttonwillow she stole a ride...
Esperanza

The stowaway hitchhiker called herself Kelly, or maybe Esperanza. She seemed to be haunted by the ghost of an old man…but was the true story even stranger?
