When we left Billie and Kateri, they were the victims of a home invasion. The
story picks up from there.
I am going to put this particular story on hold for a little while, but Billie and Kateri
will be back fairly soon. Thank you, again for your support! ~Clara.
Against his better judgement, a man gives his wife a very feminine piece
of lingerie for their anniversary. She does not appreciate the gesture and makes
an offer that he takes her up on.
With everyone watching, I stepped to the table, filled a goblet, and downed it in one go.
Ugh. Whatever vintage Horatio had brought out this time, it wasn’t Asmodian. Nor I’d bet of the wines Vance had spoken highly about a long time ago, those crafted by the elves of Nidavellir. I’d forgotten how bitter were most of the offerings in Hell - heck, I’d even have preferred that Chardonnay from the dragon soiree I’d attended with Isaiah.
Dangit. Isaiah.
What was I going to tell my friend? That his greater spirit would eventually decide whether I should be allowed to exist? And if decided against, Azrael would be forced to destroy me.
Would that mean Isaiah would have to try to kill me too?
When Ozzie finally stopped to catch his breath,
Avery summed up the case in a single sentence:
"The problem is that you ordered a French Maid Costume,
and now that you're wearing it, you can't take it off."
"That's right," he said. "You make it sound simple,
but it's a nightmare, I'm telling you!"
Pat, Sam, and Barbara form a highly malleable triangle. Fate steps in, and a small, not very happy boy becomes a pioneer. Will Pat even recognize himself when his destiny is complete?
A tale about deception in the 1950's advertising jungle. Imagine that!
Necromancer Unmanned
Chapter 12
Something to Think About
Keir strode down the hall like he was the master of the keep. The servants they passed hastily got out of the way at the sight of the pair of ghostly guards who marched silently in front. His three living maids followed behind, he would need them later.
Mark and Mary
A Short Story from Times Past
By Maryanne Peters
It came from one of those misunderstandings that you hear about, but it was to shape our family in a most unusual way.
Widower Marek Janski stood in the queue in Ellis Island, and with him were his two sons Pavel and Radek. His English had been improved on the trip over, but he was still feeling his way. He knew to say his surname first.
The next two days were much the same. We lazed by the pool, went to the salon and then got dressed for the show. My outfit matched Lesley and she always gave me a hug and a kiss whenever I went down to the gym. My ‘friend’ Jack wasn’t seen and one of his guys told me that they were not letting him forget being outed in public.
Waking felt awful. I hadn’t been out at the Pub and had not been drinking otherwise. I could tell from seeing my breath that the room I was in was cold. Yet I was warm, and cosy so would have liked another bit of sleep, yet I was firmly awake and feeling more alert as the headache and unwell feeling passed. Had I been drugged?
Cemetery Shenanigans
Part One: Being Chased by A Phantom
I took a deep breath as I peered through the bars in the old iron fence. The sight that greeted me was one befitting a lovecraftian horror story. The grass was as tall as me, tombstones lay scattered about in all directions, there was no order to them, some were half sunken into the ground. Many were covered by moss. Somehow been worn smooth by the passing of countless years. Yet others lay broken and laying down. It seems even the dead to not gain any respect in this day and age.
“So this is it?” Dela said, looking anywhere but the crack in the wall.
“Unless you want to start drinking your own pee, yeah,” Flamer replied. The cadet was tying the last loop in their makeshift rope, it would keep the crack in reality from vanishing and separating them when they went through.
Previously: It has been seven years since Zhou Yu was first transformed into a woman and brought to An. In order to solidify the peace between Thamud and Talos, her four year old son has been betrothed to the daughter of Princess Sabine of Talos [see Chapter 11].
The
rain eases but Dennis finds out that his clothes are still not
usable. After a fruitless search for something to wear, he once again
becomes a Regency Miss. This time, however, he discovers the
limitations of the attire of the time. Then an unexpected visitor
arrives...
This is not really representative of my writing, except in that it was one of the weird dreams I had that I wrote down. But it is a complete, short story that I thought was good for me to get the hang of posting stories here. Usually the dream is the inspiration, and then it turns into some massive saga. But read on about Kim and her not-so-imaginary friend Mikey.
Not too long ago I was told a story by my daughter Ohmie. At the time she was serving as a Recruiter for the US Army. She was station in Morningside Heights neighborhood of New York city. The story concerns two families and tradition held on Veterans' Day.
Slowly, Tiberius is getting the hang of things.
One year ago he joined the adventurers Conway, Debtar, and Sinea as a freshly baked mage.
His new friends had been generous with their advice and friendship.
But when the topic of Shroom Dungeon is brought up, they are unusually mum about any details.
They agree on one thing quickly. It was time for Tiberius to delve into Shroom Dungeon.
A dungeon yet undefeated. A place to lose yourself.
Warning:
Stories set in Shroom Dungeon deal with sexual themes.
Sometimes explicit. Reader discretion is advised.
Sylvie's kiss totally surprised me. My first reaction was to pull away, but the fact that someone wanted to kiss me was good, and she tasted nice. I responded a bit before pulling back.
Herbertstown House, Dunboyne, County Meath, Ireland:
Mona looks out the massive window in the drawing room. She wipes away the tears that have started leaking from her eyes. Her grandmother had passed away in her sleep last night. She wasn’t looking forward to calling all her aunts and uncles to let them know. She had already called her aunt Charlotte and her father.
She feels her hand nudged by a wet nose. She looks down and notices it is Lady. One of her uncle Jack’s specially bred wolves. Lady and her mate Bruno guarded the grounds and Mrs. Bounty.
Elise awoke to the obnoxious beeping of an alarm on her phone. She quietly groaned as she reached over to her nightstand to turn it off.
Slightly begrudgingly, she sat up in her bed and checked the time, 6:03 AM. At least she hadn’t overslept. That would’ve been awful. She had a big day today, going to Hershey Park. She couldn’t be late.
As the rain continues Dennis
finds that his options have become less and less. Time for a
left-field solution, one which leaves him wondering if he is doing
the right thing.
