A father uses the Medallion of Zulo to break up the relationship between his daughter and a boy he doesn’t like. And, as you’d expect, things don’t go exactly as planned.

This is an experimental story that alternates between the action of the story and a stream of consciousness by the narrator character. I'll be curious to see what people have to say about it.

A man is feminized by his wife and his business partner and framed for embezzlement. Can he survive the humiliations his wife intends to subject him to and start a new life?

I stepped through the broken glass of the front door of my store, and flicked on a flashlight. I wasnt sure what I was looking for, but here I was, looking anyway ....

The place was a wreck, whether from looting or an outbreak, I wasn’t sure. Still, I had nothing else to do with myself but try and see what I could find here.

I had managed to sleep through the apocalypse. Now, I had to somehow stay alive until order was restored....

Primped and preened to perfection? There are still some things that Michael has to learn.

Later that night Mika was laying in bed in a pink night shirt that was in her drawer when she heard her father, “Is he still pretending to be a girl?” in a shout.

“How can you be such an asshole?” Mary shouted back. “She’s our child. But all you care about is your damn job anyway so what do you care?”

“Well it’s my damn job that buys that sissy all his fucking clothes,” his father yelled back.

“And my career doesn’t mean shit to you does it? I sacrificed everything so you could rub elbows with those balding fatasses-” was all Mika could stand to listen to. She grabbed the earplugs she kept on her nightstand and crammed them into place. It wasn’t as though her parents fought all the time, but whatever it was they were fighting about, it was always extremely loud.

This time though it cut deep. This was the reaction she was afraid of. She started to cry as she covered her face with her pillow.

“I wish I was born a girl,” she sighed deeply. “I wish he’d just fucking leave,” she sobbed.

Drustan Meets King Dal O'Dalgliesh but even while she is made welcome, the Vikings appear offshore. Fortunately the Connacht tribes have made some reasonable plans for their defences and the Vikings are not aware that the Lioness and her forces have added immeasurably to those plans.

Chapter 17

*Before…

He gets up and pulls a knife and comes at me and I switch my bolt to a ball of shield and think rubber and fire whacking him between the eyes with a “rubber” energy bullet laying him cold.

I lower the shields and say to the people here. “Every please just remain calm the police will be here to arrest this man and to take your statements.
The squad van isn’t too far behind either.

That’s something that we’ve got here that home you’d never see and that’s the police have an entire force of guys that all they do is come and take and transport the perps and log in the arresting officers badges and all the reports and stuff is filed at the end of their shifts and the actual officers on patrol go back on patrol instead of having to run in the crooks.
I just get my badge scanned in and leave them to it when I get another call of officer down.

I give the guys a nod and they just point go and I blast off into the night sky.

*And Now…

Basically a 'filling in' chapter as Drustina makes her way unobstructed up the West Coast of Hibernia. The Munster men who act as her pilots can only advise her as far the estuary of the River Shannon for the kingdoms are divided tribally near this border and the Vikings are active in the Shannon estuary.
