Chapter 11 Back to work!!
I turned around and saw Ms Harper getting out of her car that was parked in her Executive parking place. It was a big BMW 7 series that seemed awfully big for a woman to drive.
She had opened the car boot and waved me across to her so that I could carry a file to her office. So it was funny that because I’d helped her previously I’d been christened Christine and now here I was arriving at work as Christine.

Well, here we go. This is the final part of my story. I hope that all the loose ends get wrapped up. This is quite a long piece so please bear with me and read through right to the end.

I stared at the mirror trying to tie my bun into place.

I never knew it could be so hard. All those years in a ballet studio and the experience of getting my hair perfectly right alluded me.

"Are you about done?" A young voice yelled, breaking my concentration. "Madame Anne wants us in the studio. And the boys are waiting."

"Just a sec, Caroline," I said as I grabbed my Gaynor Mindens.
I couldn't help but fight the butterflies. The memories were all rushing back.

It was a battle just coming back to this place, even though it was always my refuge during my struggle within.

Chapter 4

I was exhausted after three hours with Sensei Ozawa. I spent more time on my back than I had in 5 years of training. I was thrown every which way that a person could be thrown. I even played the “I’m just a girl” card, with no luck whatsoever.

As I rubbed by backside from the thirtieth throw, sensei told me, in his intimidating Japanese accent. “Center of gravity off! Energy is not flowing. Feel energy flowing through you, not around!” He growled in frustration. “YOU should be defeating ME, girl! Again!”

Part 11

They quickly devised a game plan. Kylie would drive Jamie’s car to his home where Larry would pick her up to take her home after he dropped Tony at home. The Snarly Harley could only take one passenger at a time. Pat would drive Leroy, Ruth, and Jamie to the hospital for their check-ups. Leroy would run the cam-corder cassette to the county lock-up where Dick was being taken and fill out a full incident report. Pat would stay with Ruth and Jamie while they were examined. Leroy would get checked when he was done processing the crime paperwork. Then they’d all go home.

Waking up in a strange place with your arms strapped securely against your sides is a rather disconcerting experience. Even after you realize you're in a hospital.

Of course there are only a couple reasons why one wakes up strapped down in the hospital. Either you're a criminal or they're afraid you'll hurt yourself. In case you're wondering, I'm in category 2, and not in the "he might have a seizure" kind of way.

I wake up like I always do 5:28 AM it’s a reflex. I have a routine and that’s not possible right now. I’m not home, not in my home, my sanctuary, the one place that…that was supposed to be my refuge against the chaos out there of the world.

It was all gone, but I found something else, someone wonderful and I think I discovered something…It wasn’t enough though. Just my morning routine kept trying to run through my head, and not being there home it just…it kept ticking away until I close my eyes trying to get it out of my head.

Chapter 3

Tracy continued to do her best impersonation of an octopus. I was shocked at how grabby she was. We kissed a little but when she went to my nether region, I had to stop her.

“Tracy, please! Stop!” I begged. “I’m not ready for this.”

Tracy stopped and looked me in the eyes. “Why, Betsy, don’t you love me?”

I was starting to panic. “Yes, but I don’t think we should do this here. Your parents might come back.”
