Growing up I loved stories about Greek mythology. There was something special about the idea that gods and humans led these interwoven lives and the god-like offspring they could have and about the mythical creatures and historical battles of eons past. What would happen if the gods still existed today? Please note that Hercules is a modernized name for Heracles and I chose to use his traditional name throughout this story. The Gods Still Exist

“Shauna, you seem a bit pre-occupied tonight?” asked Kerry-Ann.

“Mum, it is nothing,” replied Kerry-Ann’s daughter.

“It isn’t nothing. You have sat starting at your homework for the past hour and done exactly nothing. So, come on darling out with it.”

Shauna looked at her mother for several seconds before replying.

“Mum, they are saying on Twitter and WhatsApp that Paula was a man.”

Kerry-Ann had dreaded this day coming. Paula was her wife.

“Anything else?”

“What? Isn’t that enough?”

“Are they saying anything else about us?”

As the kimbas and outcasts get to know each other, things keep building up in the background that threaten both training teams. Battling would-be oppressors and bigoted students is on the menu as Outcast Corner continues trying to navigate the insanity.

With the end of the battle Jericho returns to Whateley while Caitlin's bottled-up emotions begin to bleed and boil over. Sometimes you need to get whacked over the head for common sense to impose itself back onto your life.

Martin was just looking for a costume. What he found was a whole new world and new possibilities.

Martin looked through the few racks of costumes one more time. It was still a week before the Halloween dance at the Student Union and all of the costume shops he had been to had been pretty much picked through. There were not many people looking for costumes now, they would have been through earlier in the week.

The next morning, I lazed around the house until Becky left for school. Before she left, she said, “I got you out a gym bag to put your exercise things in. I put a towel in for you.”

Who is Aidan Webley? Is he human? Is he a special operative of the Confederation? Is he a psychic of rare ability? One thing he knows for sure is he's loyal to his government. Just after 10 AM that same Tuesday morning that Seanna and Jackie were in court, Thaddeus found himself with a few free minutes, pulled out the card with the PI's info on it and called the number. It went to voicemail, Thaddeus left a message and hung up the phone.

About 45 minutes later, Thaddeus's receptionist took a call. Once she discovered that it was the PI returning Thaddeus' call, she transferred him through to Thaddeus. "Thaddeus Savmo speaking, how may I help you?"

Seanna woke to the sound of the radio playing songs she liked, finding herself alone in her bed, then remembered that she had tucked the two girls in together in Leilani's room the night before. It felt odd to not have a child snuggled up to her while she was sleeping.

After receiving Khans blood, Kirk is revived but faces unusual symptoms. With the help of Dr. McCoy, Kirk gets back on his feet and takes command of the Enterprise on a dangerous mission to show the Klingons the power of Project Genesis. With the Klingons on the move, Kirk must find a way to save his crew as he faces mental and physical changes.

I initially intended this to be a solo, but something tells me this is going to be at least a short serial before it is finished.

I'm a Texas girl, lived there most of my life. That's not to say that my life was easy, especially when I threw a wrench into the works; a week after I turned thirteen, I told my family that I was a girl, or that I should have been one, and that's when my life became a living hell. My father beat me quite badly, but I guess I was lucky in a sense, as there were no broken bones or other major injuries, just bruises all over my body.
