Part 15: Returning to Bikini Beach, Luke nearly bolts in panic over his mind. Changing to Lucy, Luke remembers far more than he expected.

Part 16: Sunday Dinner with Mrs. Winstead and Daisy's family leads to a visit to Bikini Beach to confront management.

Part 8: The Day After, Lucy doesn't want to go to Bikini Beach, so her Bikini Beach friends come to her. There are new revelations, but things are also forgotten.

Part 9: Carol begins joining Lucy in her activities. Ma returns from a meeting enraged over horrible stories told about Ruth.

Part 10: Lucy joins the girls in the sleepover. They go shopping and play naughty games. Lucy is plagued with nightmares.

I did some reading after that, after they dragged him screaming into their private little world, and years later I found out more.

Continuing her mission to 1945 Poland, Alex must find a way to safely secret the Meridian Spacecraft and her team out of the heavily defended Wonderwerks facility and preserve the precious timeline. Will she be able to rescue the hundreds of lost souls locked away in the Wenceslas Mine? Can Alex rescue one very lost, very confused soul in particular?

Life settled down after that. It was strange to find ourselves with a proper billet; stranger still to find that we had a servant, in the form of an unsmiling local woman.

Bill spat, yet again. “Lovely company they keep, lads!”

The order came to halt, and an hour after Bill had handed round his own version of a brew, Mr Nolan was pulling up in a jeep.

We were on two hours on-two hours off that first night. The paint had been spread all over Stan, and Ernie had liberated some net curtains that broke up our shape, but I still felt isolated even though the rest of the troop were lying up either side of us in their own little patches of cover.

“Good, and I’m sorry I poked you. He grins. “I enjoyed that part actually.”

“You did?”

“Yes…a lot….it was sort of fun…” He’s looking at me and even in the dark I can see him blushing.

*And More…

The things he says. The blush….dammit I’m definitely, definitely feeling this ache of attraction going on. I offer my hand and he sheathes his sword and takes it and we smile at each other before I start just walking with him. I’m not sure but I think he sighed in a bit of tension leaving good way.

“Ginge, Ernie, I want you sharp, now. One of those buggers did half the Fifth in. We’re not going to get a shot at his arse, but we can smash a roadwheel or two, Trouble is, he gets a shot on and we’re brown bread”
