The sky is falling! Dropping white stuff all over the place. My neighbor said it is snow, but it don't snow in Texas in December. We are going to have a White Christmas if it doesn't melt.

I'd just like to wish everyone here - especially Erin and the staff - a merry Christmas and a happy, prosperous new decade. For those who are offended by me calling it Christmas, well, that's what we call it over here and I'm offended that it should be called anything else. After all, that's what it is.

I assume that there is a huge diversity of population here. It seems logical to me that there are or have been every kind of male here from corporate presidents, to Doctors, to Electricians (GAH, that just ruins the neighborhood ! :)) , to men in prison and I know at least two shrinks.

So far as I know, information about any statistical comonalities regarding T folk has not been published, though I have casual knowlege of some traits that we seem to have in common, perhaps.

I'm trying to find a story about a man who is dressed up as a woman for a business party. at the party he is put in a strange pod and transformed into a woman. he is then married off. She steals the secrets of the pods and runs away with her children and give the technology to the public allowing people to be transformed and to live very long lives. It is similar to JullieOs Fruit of the Vine in some aspects.

Let me stress this, it is not jullieO's Fruit of the vine, The one I'm looking for is much longer and darker.

Marry Ho Ho Dammit.

OK, so I'm a traditionalist and like sending physical, paper cards. Obviously that's a bit difficult with an online community like BCTS, so I've done the next best thing... :)

I posted a story/song earlier in the day which I erroneously attributed to another author. It was not my intention to publish this in any manner other than that which would reflect my source. In my haste, I published it believing I had permission to use the author's name, which I did not. It was a misunderstanding entirely due to my own error in judgment. I apologize to her and to those readers who had already commented on the piece. I have removed it of my own accord rather than leave it to stand as written. Once again, I am sorry for my haste and inaccuracy. Andrea

sitting here, grieving for friends who have passed on, either from health problems, or because they were taken from us by violence. The "In Memoriam" box, on the home page, has grown by too many names in just the last year or so. Some of them I knew, others I didn't, but all are sisters who were loved, appreciated, and are missed.

As many of you know, I asked ( read as BEGGED ) for help recently - and many people have come forward.

Currently, one person is looking into the scripting for the rebirth of Sapphire's Place. others are waiting in the wings - doing the research on HOW to redesign the site.... but with my stepping back from the site, that means that someone has to take the lead on both the site and it's redesign.

We've had some truly excellent writing posted here lately. Great, adventurous stories packed with powerful emotions and levels of deeper meaning. Humorous stories with reader misdirection and Aesop-like morals. Simple stories, yet with a powerful grip on the heart-strings that profoundly affect the readers. I love all of these!

I have been thinking about why I write and wished to respond to some of the comments made about what I have written, so here goes.

I have written stories because I imagine characters, sometimes myself in situations that I enjoy taking them to and seeing how the character develops, and where the story goes. There is rarely a planned end when the story starts which I know is reflected in how the stories often peater out or get rushed as I loose interest in the ideas.
