Inspired by Angharad's Christmas story, I went for a walk/run this morning. It took me an hour to do three miles, most of the time walking. But I had a blast. I love running.

I think its been like 4 years since last chapter of guardian princess and to be honest I was going through a lot, so after re-reading it and realizing I can't remember the character developments I had in mind, I've decided to ...well lets just say turn it on it's head and shake it up.....so I just hope you don't hate it=) the first new chapter will be up tonight or tomorrow at the latest.

Just wanted to say that I've dipped my toe in the waters at Stardust. Some PMs have asked about early writings and so I've posted "Cross-Country". It's kinder and gentler, in keeping with Stardust policies, and it's one of my earlier TG stories. Re-reading before posting surprised me about some of the tropes and elements I've used later, but there are still some nice people in it. If you have comments or critiques, let me know here on BCTS rather than Stardust because I'm more comfortable with the BCTS system.

I'm sure you'll all have noticed that it has been far too long since the previous chapter of Somewhere Else Entirely was posted. I've finally managed to get the next one up... I ought to be back to a reasonable schedule now, although these days you never know.

I thought I'd explain why there's been such a long delay. Oh, all right, this is a grovelling apology combined with specious excuses why I haven't been writing. Satisfied now?

I recently commented on a story that hurt someone I regard quite highly, though it wasn't meant to do that. I regret that. A lot.

You know who you are. I don't expect you to come and tell me it's okay, because it isn't.

All I ask is the you find it in your heart to forgive me in time. Not right now, or in the next few weeks or months. Just in time.

The upshot here is to let all of you know to consider what you say in comments very carefully before you post them.

I've been re-reading this series and wondered if there'd be any interest in me doing another episode. The reason I haven't for a long time is that I find it harder to write than my other series, in places it's a bit intense emotionally.

Anyway, if there's enough interest I'll think about writing some more.

There is a heading in "My Accounts" which summarises the total number of kudos which a writer has received. I would jealously chortle over the hundreds of thousands (actually I have to tell the truth....a few hundred) of these precious little items every day, somewhat like Gollum with his ring....my pressshhhusss.

I am a girl by sufferance. I was not born a girl, didnt have a girlhood to learn the nuances of being a girl. I do not believe I really "pass" as a girl by any objective standard. So I am a girl by sufferance. My girlhood can be taken from me by words - "Him", "Sir" or my male name. It can be taken from me by actions - isolation, rejection, contempt. No "natural" girl will ever know what that feels like, to be "tolerated" like I'm some crazy person that no one has the energy to argue with.

hey this entry really isn't about anything in particular.
Just had to get on and say that Real Life has really had an impact on me in the last few months. As so often is the case with people who post serial or continuing stories I have failed to keep my story MOTW going past the last entry. For that I do apologize...what I will not say I'm sorry for is the RL reason that it has taken me so long to get the next segment posted.

Due to the easing up of finances and the ability to replace some of the software, I have managed to reconnect with the server and save the site and work on newer updates which I have just posted. Thank you very much for those who have kindly sent offers of help and support.

Well, I would like to share my day in "male drag". It started when I got home from work at 7 am, and got into the only male dress outfit I have - pants. dress shirt, and suit jacket, and waited until it was time to pick up my ex and my daughter. Once we got there, we found out we had a couple of hours to wait until the ceremony, but my ex had to get into the line, so I started to wish I had grabbed a nap before we left, as I found being on my feet for that long rather tough.

Those of us living in the States celebrate Thanksgiving (just a day to big out)giving thanks to a good harvest going back to the days of the pilgrims SO HAVE A GOOD THANKSGIVING -- Love You All -- RICIE2

I just found out that Anne McCaffrey passed away Monday, November 21, 2011 after having had a stroke. The world is now a little darker place without her glowing wit and untold stories. Requiescat in pace
