I think previous chapters "dissolve" to give more space to new stories/chapters posted daily by all authors. Otherwise, Erin's servers would be swamped with multi-chapter backlogs.
If you haven't already, go to my name on the Authors page (top right of your BCTS screen) and you'll find the most recent chapter as well as all of my previously-posted stories grouped by title.
