The official first Thanksgiving et al...
The first Thanksgiving celbrated by the USA was in 1789, George Washingtom proclaimed it a day to be grateful and full of thanks. Abraham Lincoln made it an official holiday to be celebrated the last Thursday in November. Franklin Roosevelt decoded to male thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday of November to give a break before Christmas.
