I didn’t know what to say to her, I knew what she was going to ask, I just hadn’t planned on answering her. I took a few moments to think of an answer, but I couldn’t find one, so I asked her a question in the hope she’d forget what just happened.

Hi my name is Kaleb or rather was Kaleb and this is how I got turned into a girl by my 9 year old sister.

one day in late June 2014 my sister was getting changed out of her pajamas which happened to be a pink t-shirt with white panties with pink and purple stripes on them and I just happened to look at her changing for one second little did I know my life was about to change.

This is NOT a pretty story. It might look like it takes a page or nine from Zoe's Becoming Robin and similar stories by other authors, but in the end, this is a tragedy, plain and simple. Every single warning listed at the top of the story is appropriate.

The story ends with two big scenes: a rather descriptive rape scene followed soon after by a very graphic suicide scene.

All characters are fictional, the school is loosely based on one that actually exists in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

I’m scared to walk home alone. After the events of today, I don’t want to be alone. I reach the gate that exits the school grounds, and I eye it nervously. Come on Aaron. You’ve done this before. It’s just a walk home. I don’t know why I’m so apprehensive about walking home alone. I’m not used to being this paranoid. What did I think would happen to me? I look down at my skirt. My legs bare to the no-show socks. My heart is pounding. My stomach is in knots.

“You look fine. Leave the hem of the skirt alone.” Ellie placed her hand on my bare arm.

“It’s really short.” I say as I fidget with the fringes of my pleated skirt while trying to keep in stride with her on the walk to school.

Ryan is known as the class clown testing the limits of his principal's patience. Finally, he decides to pull his biggest stunt yet by pretending to be trans so as to access the girl's bathrooms and showers. Ryan's victory against the school seems completely certain but then he starts experiencing changes.

I met Lisa in the hall just after second period. “Hey, are you okay? I heard that they took you off the squad. Then you disappear for a week? What happened?”

“Amber. We had a scare last Tuesday Night. It’s all a blur to me. She almost died. I was in the room at the time. All the doctors and nurses rushed in; I felt so helpless.”

“Oh, I’m so sorry. We haven’t had any news about you or Amber. We were all so worried.”

“Well, they took her in for surgery that night. It took forever, but the following morning they told us that she had survived. By Friday she even opened her eyes!”

“REALLY! That’s amazing!”

We sit waiting for word from the doctors. Hours go by. Mom and Dad huddle on the couch. I curl up on my side on the other couch. Mom and Dad have offered to take me home. None of us really wants to leave. I’ve stopped watching the clock hours ago. It only made me more agitated. I can’t concentrate. I don’t have my books or my backpack. I have nothing to do but sit in silence.

My heart beats faster at the breathtaking sight of the ballerina effortlessly performing her steps. From the tiara pinned to her blonde hair, through her beautiful, embellished tutu and soft pink tights to her shiny satin pointe shoes, she is the very image of grace, elegance and femininity. As I watch her dance in the mirror, I actually have to remind myself that the ballerina… Is me.
