The palace is so stunning but the view is so…That huge moon. Shaya feels so good pressed into my back. It’s been too long, so long…and the way I am now…Never? I gesture out at the sky and all the things I see there. “Just how many moons are there?”

“Fifteen but not all are inhabited.”

“Oh, the big one must be the closest.”

“No, we are the closest. That is the Sacred Heart, The Planet of Sylvania we are on it’s closest moon known as Highwood.”

“Oh it sort of looks like home, is it inhabited?”

The night was long and lonely. Even though mum and dad had been with me til about 9.30 when the nurse gave them their marching orders.

I don't know why I have to keep several series going on at once, but this one's been burning a hole in my brain for a while. Do Over almost went this way, but found it's own identity. If you haven't seen the Bruce Willis film "The Kid", you won't know the plot anyway, but you really should rent it.

Thursday morning moves so fast for me and by lunch it’s dad to the rescue again as I’m getting calls from my online friends and family. Some of them are arriving tonight even and god there’s so much to do.

I guess first thing’s first, and I slide up to Taylor just as he’s finishing the last cinnamon roll in the place. I kiss him and lick the icing and cinnamon and sugar off his lips. “We’re getting busier Tay we should hire someone else.”

“We could, any ideas?”

“Billy’s girlfriend Dallas.”

This is a sort of Science Fiction tale. If you include Time Travel in that genre that is. Not that anyone actually travels through time in the story. Dear me no. Nevertheless it is the closest I can get to an accurate description. It's really about a young boy. And what he finds in the forest one day. And how it changed his life.

And your's too in a way. And mine. All our lives I suppose. In due time.

In this second chapter Ugmor'n3 and Er experience a stout Cortez moment. The fears that mingle with their wild surmise are forgotten as they gaze upon their new horizons. Until the awareness of a greater and more immediate threat strikes.

You haven't met Er yet but even my Muse approves of her. Indeed claims she was his idea. Complete codswallop!.
