This is a fan fiction set in the Firefly/Serenity universe created by Joss Whedon. It takes place soon after the events in the television series and the companion motion picture that followed, and is also the fifth part of a sequel to Firefly: Connecting Flight. This means it has SPOILERS, folks, and major ones at that. So please don't read this unless you get the chance to see the series and the movie -- and read my first Firefly story (and the first three chapters of this one).

In the fifth part of FIREFLY: DOUBLE BOOKED, Mal and Jayne head off to a special delivery, only to discover just how "special" it is. The crew get a guided tour of beautiful downtown Flynt, only to discover there's nothing beautiful about it. And everyone learns why Flynt isn't a nice place to visit, only to discover a reason to have to.

Malfunction

A long time ago, and far, far away . . .

You might have heard the story of the twins. Mother had died in childbirth, father, well, nobody wanted to talk about him much. They were separated, raised in very different environments.

One, a boy named Luke, was taken to a palace. The girl, named Lea, was taken to a dessert. But that’s only the beginning .

A lonely young boy tries unsuccessfully to cope with recent changes in his life until an odd group of strangers arrive in town and show him that maybe his curse is a blessing after all.

This isn't really a story. I do a lot of TG modified comics covers (Found at Femur's TGcaps site: http://www.tgcaps.com/caps/) and after reading Pamela Sue's Ladd's Exchange Mall series I created a comic six issue mini-series: Laddie-Gurl Comics: Tales from the Ladd's Exchange Mall (Where boys will be gurls ... whether they like it or not)

In the fourth part of FIREFLY: DOUBLE BOOKED, the crew finds out where the cargo's destined for, and ain't none of 'em are happy about it. A lot happens between pick-up and delivery -- folks get inventive, Wash learns more about herself than she'd like, and everyone wonders if, just this once, Mal's plan will finally go smooth. *snort* As if.

In the third part of FIREFLY: DOUBLE BOOKED, Wash and the ladies go for a walk in the freight yard, Jayne plays guardian angel with a "dumb-ass piece of Alliance plastic" for a gun, and our intrepid pilot finally faces her fear -- with surprising results!

It was closing time @ Housing Transitions Program. I just walked out the door with my friend Lori and Talking about the puzzle we were working on. Suddenly a blast happened and I went flying. I Hit the building and I looked up and saw a steel beam land on my leg. I screamed And my twin sister came running. then it just went black. Meanwhile the starship Enterprise was in orbit watching the action. The away team just beamed up and Captain Picard just gave helm their next detestation then Data says “Captain I am detecting an anomaly on the planets surface.

Thing seem to be going well for Alyssa in spite of her recent upheaval. She has friends, family support, and nifty new abilities, though she can't always control them the way she wants to. But an accidental (?) foray into a world she never knew existed will bring yet more change... Now, more adventures of- -----*****Alyssa in Wonderland*****----- Kudzu By Angie "kitn" Hughes

Casting Call

Sean stood for a moment, her violin hanging from her fingers. She was terrified, shocked, unable to move or even swallow for an instant of time that seemed to her to last forever. She finally lifted her instrument and almost aggressively clamped her chin down on the pad. She held her bow over her violin as though she was ready to beat the instrument, so it was a surprise when the first notes she wrung from it were so soft as to be almost inaudible.

Life should begin to settle down for Seph, but how will she feel once the initial rush has slowed and she has time to think?
