This story was inspired by Teek’s story by the same name.

Timmy was sitting on the school bus on his way to his Middle School. Next to him, Betty, his bestest friend in the whole world was prattling about her afternoon tryout for the cheerleading squad. Timmy wasn’t really listening. Timmy was no Tiny Tim. If not exactly bigger than all the other boys in his class, he was taller than most. And if he was lean what was there was mostly bones, sinews and muscles. He very much resembled his father and grandfather at his age. Grandfather had played pro football. Unfortunately he had to retire due to injuries after one season. Timmy’s father had been the big football hero in the high school Timmy was to attend in a few years. The father had gone on to play college football, though only for one year.

Fitting End. Chapter 8 of 8

Chapter 8

When I did arrive back at the school, my room was spic and span, and everyone was happy to see me. Of course, I was way behind with the gossip and the activities. While I had been away there had been a complete intake of first year students, and the older ones had left. There were a lot of cards on my bed, all from girls who had visited the sites, with many of them expressing their gratitude with my involvement with them.

The song

The song

I wish that everyone could just get along.
Like words and music in a song.
A song so free it brings a tear.
And to the whole it brings good cheer.

Too many see the outward shells.
And fail to see the inward hells.
The hells of our inner child.
For most of us are driven wild.

We often live within ourselves.
All our hopes and dreams upon a shelf.
This is why we wish this song.
This show of hearts that get along.

Pain within

Pain within

A piece of paper, pen in hand.
Time flows by like hourglass sand.
Words rush out from in the brain.
As tears pour down like falling rain.

The pain withheld just grows some way.
And haunts your being everyday.
From dawn to dusk and in between.
Are battles to keep the hurt unseen.

And then there comes a tiny slip.
When someone sees a subtle tip.
That not all is how your life might seem.
How the nightmare fades away the dream.

Force a smile

I’ve traveled a great distance.
Yet have so far to go.
And met with much resistance.
From those that just don’t know.

Tried to explain, to educate.
But end up wasting time.
It always ends up in debate.
With narrow brainwashed minds.

I’ve made mistakes along the way.
Like most everybody does.
By not being open everyday.
To the ones I really love.

Because I’ve lived for someone else.
For way too many years.
The mistakes I made were to myself.
For not facing my worst fears.

Just me

Just me

Somehow was born convicted.
And sentenced to doing time.
For being just the way I am.
And didn't once commit a crime.

They'd say I was pathetic.
And that I was a disgrace.
Minding my own business.
Someone punched me in the face.

The last one chosen for the team.
As if I really cared.
And always getting teased.
Cause of the way I wore my hair.

River of tears

River of tears

This time I know I crossed a line.
And paid no heed to the warning signs.
The feelings within me, there all of my life.
As I held them in, they cut like a knife.

I need to release what’s been trapped inside.
Out into the day and no longer hide.
It has all been my fault, of this I do know.
For just not allowing, my true self to show.

Free at last

Free at last

I’m surrounded by people, and yet I’m alone.
I dwell in my own house, but I’m not at home.
I’ve lived most of my life, hiding inside a shell.
Tossed a fortune in hopes, into the wishing well.

Memories of time lost, and torturous pain.
Are embedded and grate, there inside my brain,
I searched for the good, but found only despair.
Would often give up with, no emotion to spare.

Never Hiding In Hose Again

Belladonna's "Hiding in Hose" (mother seizes corporate control from her son and transforms him into her maid): perhaps it's a dark tale rife with unfairness; alternatively, perhaps it's a moral tale of just desserts. This is my (unauthorized) tribute, Fanfiction, to one of the best FM authors. It is set 15 years after Belladonna's story. Any overlaps in copyright I cede to her.

One Summer Sunday... Pt 1

One Summer Sunday.png

Special thanks to Malady for his help in editing this!

This story is the sequel to One Sunday Morning, a piece I posted on 9/2/20. A couple of people expressed interest in what happened with Garnet’s friend Jill. I was rather curious about it as well. Thus this story started to take shape. For about a week, then sat on my hard drive for awhile. I decided I wanted to find out more about Jill, and started working on it again. Hope you enjoy!

A word of warning for those who might object. These stories have a definite Christian leaning.

One Summer Sunday – Sequel to One Sunday Morning

Garnet drove.

She was on her way to Joplin, Missouri, to pick up her friend, Jill.

They had worked together in Saint Louis, at a major hospital there, but when Jill came out as trans-gendered, she was abruptly let go by the administrator.

The After-effects of Chemically Induced Acute Gonadal Dysfunction
A Scientific Paper (of a sort)
By Maryanne Peters NSD MN (Hons)

AGD.png

The above is an extract from a story that appeared in the Des Moines Register on April 1st 2018. The publication date made many readers consider the story a prank, but among medical researchers the presence of Acute Gonadal Dysfunction is well known, although research is limited by its rarity.

STEVVANS

It was Mom who forced me think about what it was that would make me happy, and funnily enough, or maybe not, it was not so very different from what made her happy. I too wanted a husband, a home and a family, but those seemingly simple things turned out to be not at all simple to acquire, and I went through considerably more anguish before I met Evan.

Not quite a Lady Spider.

Chapter 1

I always find it amazing just what people think on the internet. I mean it’s crazy just how things have gone.

There is a current theory that Lady Spider is a result of a girl from another dimension brought to ours by an evil villain.

Of course they believe she is going by the name of Stacy something or another.

Let them believe Lady Spider is really ghost spider from a colorless dimension.

Also known as Spider-Gwen, Spider Girl Gwen Stacy or Petra Parker

Ha!

If they only knew!

To Return Home 2.2

"I don't give a damn who it is, Bernie! I don't want you linking with anyone down there again!"

I stopped on my parent's porch. I had been reaching out to open the door, but now, hearing Daddy yelling, I wasn't sure I wanted to walk in on them. All three of us girls had a standing invitation to simply walk in, as did all of them, including Mama and Daddy, at our homes.

I had a particular reason to not want to walk in on this particular squabble. Mama was doing a favor for me. Apparently Amos was able to connect to others again. It frightened all of us. What was to stop him from trying to control us? I was very much afraid. Controlling me was something he might want to do to get to John.

Apocalypse Dawn: First Light - Part 26

Aftermath (The Slut)

One of the saddest stories on FictionMania is Janice's 'The Slut': "Three teenage girls exact revenge on the older brother of one of them, who is obnoxious to them, with dire results." Six minutes ago, I posted it here on BCTS as 'The Slut (By Janice)'. It's a short but powerful story, cutting 'close to the bone' of reality. Many of its reviewers demanded a sequel. 'Aftermath' is my unauthorized tribute to Janice's gut-wrenching realism. Please do not associate any shortcomings in my work with her thoughtful gem. Any overlaps in copyright I cede to her.

The Other Side of Me - Part 13

The Other Side of Me – Chapter 13
by Limbo’s Mistress

On the ride home from the mall, Katie repeatedly attempted to talk to me about my sudden foul mood. Each time, I refused to even look in her direction. Instead, I merely stared straight ahead at the road and mumbled, “I don’t want to discuss it.”
