In which our Technicolor Angel's gruesomy dark side emerges, and she tolchoks me soundly from gulliver to yarbockles, leaving your humble narrator one bruised and weepy and disillusioned young devotchka, who sadly concludes that she must leave the employ of this certifiable bozova, who has suddenly turned all brutal-like...

"...maybe you think I'm totally weird but, Mars; they feel good, and they are, and I've never gotten to before, ... they are just real important. I mean there are so many things to wear now...."
What better way to read a Summer Romance than to have it occur in the time and place most used by romance novelists: London during the Regency Period, specifically: From November 1814 to just after Waterloo?
Synopsis: Terri is in-over her head and angry to boot. Her mother is the latest in the list of people who know her secret. Who else knows? Is her life ever going to stop getting more complicated?
I had been taking hormone pills that I had bought on the internet for about 6 months now. Things had been easy to hide for the first few months, nothing major happened. Hell, I haven’t even told my parents yet. How can I tell them? I mean, what would I start by saying?
“Hey mum, hey dad, I’m not your son, I’m really your daughter despite being born a boy and being called Mark.”
What better way to have a summer romance than to use the most common historical place and time used by romance novelists, London, during the Regency period. In this case November 1814 to after Waterloo.
"My life isn't so much back to normal after all, because even though everybody knows, and everybody knows everybody knows, I still wound up doing something totally weird this morning."

Chapter 15 of a Continuing Saga…
We waved them goodbye as Mrs Rose drove off and then returned to the house where Farah and I went back up to my room. Everything had been left neat and tidy.
‘I hope everything goes okay for Bryony at the doctor’s,’ I said. ‘It’s not going to be easy for her having to pretend to be a boy at school and only being a girl at home and the weekends.’

I know that there is no way that I can take back what I did to my brother so many years ago. The only thing that I can say is that at the time, I was 14 and had just lost both of my parents in a terrible plane crash. We both were given into the custody of our older brother who didn’t care about anything. When he hooked up with this mean blonde, she gave me many ideas how to torment my brother. I was 14 and wanted to take my anger out on someone and he was the littlest.
To my shame, I did take my anger out on him. I know there is no way that I can take back what I did to him and every day now, I am sorry that I hurt him. His life was ruined by what I did but my only defense was that there was also Sandra. If it wasn’t for her then the abuse on my brother would never have went as far as it did. It was fun for about three years, but into the fourth year I started having very serious reservations about the cruelties I had inflicted on my little brother. But by then, all of the damage was already done and we had a broken slave girl.
I was actually happy that she was rescued from us for I knew even if I went against Sandra’s wishes that Sandra wouldn’t stop hurting her. I was happy she might be able to live her own life. But I kept feeling the need to see her, and apologize for my part in the evil and to beg her forgiveness. I know it was stupid to break into her new home, but I needed to tell her face to face how sorry I was.
"...Marsh, I mean, I know lots of boys do babysit, but they don't brag about it. They would wear shirts that say "World's Best Lawn Mower," or something. Right?"
Petra looked at me; she had a sort of frown on her face.
‘Is something wrong?’
‘I don’t know. I couldn’t help hearing you talk to Miss Morris while I was waiting outside the form room; it wasn’t very clear, but I think she said you aren’t a girl, but a boy called Mark…what’s going on?’
PROLOGUE: Last spring these letters began showing up in my email. I thought the address had been typed wrong and sent a reply warning the writer, but it bounced back as undeliverable. I know that seems impossible, but the letters are here, and I think the web holds many weird gremlins.
Last night I decided that, perhaps, the universe brought them to me to show to others and, if you can get over your qualms about eavesdropping on strangers, some of you might find them interesting too.
Steven Brooks was a boy who got in trouble for looking at his Christmas presents and as punishment he was made to dress and live as a girl until school started again. There was an accident and the reopening of school was delayed. More and more it seems like Stephanie will have a difficult time going back. Already she has a boyfriend and a role as a bridesmaid in her cousin’s wedding. Last time, she had her twelfth birthday which didn’t go so well. Her little friend Robin was until recently a boy named Bobby, and when she came over to share Stephanie’s birthday dinner, her father showed up uninvited and yelled and wanted Bobby back, but Stephanie’s father made him go away. In this episode, Stephanie will have a birthday party with her friends from her old Sunday School class in which they attend the movie “Enchanted.” Some slight spoilers of that film are given, but no critical plot points are revealed.
