A story for kimmie

(posted with permission by given by kimmie for me to repost)

Kimmie

It really was my fault I wound up cross-dressed for a full year. The truth be known though, it was my sister’s fault I got into this situation in the first place. To add to the list of those I can blame for my predicament is my mother. She convinced me that thinking of others more than thinking of myself was the true Christian thing to do.

Switching Playing Fields, Chapter 10

Chapter 10

I soaked in the silence of the locker-room one more time.

I put on my bottoms, the skirt and pulled on the jersey. I pulled on my ankle socks and cleats.

The uniform never seemed to look cleaner. I pulled out a brush and combed my hair one, trying to make sure I looked really nice.

We were making an end of the year team photo with our conference championship trophy out on the field.

Switching Playing Fields, Chapter 9

Chapter 9

It was a conversation I wasn't supposed to hear, wished I didn't hear.

Serves me right for arriving at a team meeting early.

"It's Lucas' fault!" I heard Coach Parker say in Coach Martin's office.

"If he hadn't come out for the team, this wouldn't have happened," Coach Parker said. "It's like the Little League Softball World Series all over again. We're going to be playing a stacked team for the championship."

Switching Playing Fields, Chapter 8

Chapter 8

We stopped by the school to get our permission slips to be out for most of the day.

"Parade starts at 3:30, you need to be at the old bank parking lot at 2:45 for lineup," said Mrs. Baker, the school secretary.

"We'll be there," Gina said.

Gina's sister, Mauve, and her assistant, Becca, were waiting for us at the salon.

"We're closed for everyone except you two," Mauve said when we walked through the door. "I picked up your dresses from the shop and they're hanging. We're leaving straight from here to the parade."

The Chosen~2

I was still rather sleepy and fell asleep again. When I wakened sometime later and opened my eyes, it took me a few seconds to realise where I was, and felt down below. Sitting up in bed, it dawned on me that, instead of pyjamas, I was wearing a nightdress: it was very soft, cream coloured and seemed to be made of satin.

Switching Playing Fields, Chapter 7

Chapter 7

"Ladies, wear the skirts to practice, Coach Martin."

That was the sign that greeted us on the door of the auxiliary gym.

"Hey coach, what gives?" Emily Crue asked coach before we went to get dressed.

"CNN is here to film our practice and football practice," Coach Martin said. "They want to interview Lucas and Beth after we're done this afternoon."

"And they want to see me practice in a skirt?" I said, rolling my eyes. "Coach Martin, do I have to do this?"

Someone e-mailed them the story the local newspaper did on us. That someone was Coach Martin.

Switching Playing Fields, Chapter 6

Chapter 6

I pulled a sweatshirt over my T-shirt and a pair of sweats over my spandex shorts, it was a bit cool outside.

Jessi told me the clothes I wear for practice and a pair of socks would be fine for ballet class.

I was a bit tired. We stayed at the party at Gina's house way too late.

Mom made a pretty good breakfast. Her bacon and eggs were the best. I smelled them as soon as I got out of the shower.

I wasn't rushed, but soon there came a knock at the door. It was Jessi.

"By Mom," I said, giving her a hug as I rushed out the door.

Switching Playing Fields, Chapter 5

Chapter 5

"Slow down, you don't have a train to catch," mom said as I gulped down my juice and shoved down a couple of pop tarts.

"Actually, mom, I do," I said with my mouth full. "Jessi's mom will be here any minute. We're not supposed to be late for the GAC meeting."

"That brings back memories," mom said. "I was in GAC in middle school and high school."

GAC was the Girls Athletics Club. Membership was mandatory for all players on the girls athletics teams at the school. I thought being a boy would exclude me, I was wrong.

Switching Playing Fields, Chapter 4

Chapter 4

"OK ladies, take a knee," were the words I'd been waiting for after running what seemed like an endless number of sprints at the end of practice.

I was out of breath, but tried not to let it show.

"Big game tomorrow," Coach Martin said. "It's our season opener and our first conference game. Eat a good meal tonight. Get plenty of rest. We've got a two-hour drive after school tomorrow to Sullins Academy."

Switching Playing Fields, Chapter 3

Chapter 3

Gina Lenetti and I sat quietly in Coach Martin's office.

I had no idea what our fate was going to be.

"Imagine my surprise when I was told to come to the principal's office to pick up a couple of my players," she said as she sat down in her chair. "He wants me to handle the punishment. And we're going to do that."

It started off with a little teasing from a couple of football players, Josh Bryan and Chuck Lawrence. I didn't like being called a sissy and shoved Chuckie into the lockers, only to be penned up by our quarterback.

Switching Playing Fields, Chapter 2

Chapter 2

Many of the rules didn't seem unreasonable. Some were the same as the ones for the football team.

Don't miss practice unless you have an excuse.

You must maintain a "C" average to be eligible.

No failing grades.

Discipline problems in the classroom will result in suspension from the team.

No use of profanity.

Coaches, teachers and parents are to be addressed by "Yes, sir; Yes, ma'am."

The problem came a little bit in the dress code.

Chapter 1

I never had a problem with Beth Garrison.

She was the best athlete in the seventh grade at Spring Hill Middle School.

I was on her team in Little Baseball. She was the only girl on the team, but she could hit the ball farther than any of us.

She excelled in basketball, volleyball, just about any sport she played.

This chapter is narrated...

The night was dark and cold, snow already falling upon the ground from the sky, on the slow night. This night was quiet, and full of sorrow as Nathan stirred in his bed, reminiscing in his nightmares. He was very sad, angry and felt ashamed.

Authors Warning: this story has heavy religious theme to it.

In the vast reaches of the universe exists a plain that humans cannot ever reach. there is an area that exists only for the immortals and only they can exist in. In that realm, the mighty god Hashem Eloheam had decided that the final test of humanity will take place. This test would decide whether humanity deserved to survive or parish and it would be their choice. He decided to send unto humanity a young child that desperately needed love and kindness. The child would be helpless in his first 13 years. The child could forefill the greatest prophesies and bring about a new age of wisdom and love onto human kind, or he could be our worst nightmare and fulfill the end times prophecies so many books speak about. The child would be innocent and pure, but be different from other children. The choice would ours and our treatment of the child would determine our fate.

But perhaps, it was an unfair test given the long history of how we tend to treat those that are different.

Stephanie’s Deal

by Jennifer Brock

When Steven Brooks was forced to dress as a girl over Christmas break, it was supposed to have been a punishment. Instead, it opened his eyes to how things just made more sense if she were female. Stephanie, as she’s now known, has been seeing a psychiatrist and hopes to be diagnosed as officially transgender, so they’ll give her hormones and operations and stuff to make her a girl for real. In this episode, Stephanie follows up on some plans she made in previous episodes, as she goes on a shopping trip to the mall with her friend Debbie, and goes over to her boyfriend’s for a Super Bowl party. It’s Feb 1, 2008, and she’s just spent the day taking placement exams at her new school.

The Scoobies Do: Chapter 2 - Gabi Emerges

Gabe looked at the floor. His inability to lie smacked him in the face again! "Part of me is curious what it'd be like to wear cute skirts like yours," he replied softly. "But I don't want to be a girl."

"You won't have to become a girl," Buffy answered as she put a comforting hand on his trembling arm. "But you could pretend to be a girl to round out the Scooby Gang. We'll call you Gabi, and I know the guys won't hassle you about it. Neither will the grups, they're cool with just about anything.

Cindy’s little sister asks her an interesting question.

With the shoplifters taken care of, The Wizard can address the problem at hand. The Wizard seems to be somewhat surprised about Bobbie’s apparent ability, but not too surprised. I wonder why? Another thing, who is Naomi? Cindy tells The Wizard she has detected another person who is in the wrong body. The Wizard already knows about her and invites the two girls and their parents to his shop. That might prove to be an interesting visit.

The two families visit Randy in the hospital. The girls have some time alone with Randy and tell him they are aware of his inner dream. They are able to tell him about their transitions. They also learn more about his transfer between worlds. Randy has a relapse, but before the girls go, Bobbie senses one more thing about Randy’s condition.

I am posting these chapters today because I am going to be on the road tomorrow and Friday. I will post Chapter 7 on Saturday.
