I wrote the first draft of this story eight or nine years ago, in a severely depressed, anxious, and/or furious mood. (I don't remember which and why, now.) I was recently motivated to revise this and finish it up. The first SRU story (Bill Hart's "A Strangeness at the Frat House") was written in 1996, so this could be considered a 21th anniversary homage to SRU, celebrating SRU's coming of legal age (to consume alcohol).

Yeah my first post! A really fun little story I wrote back in September I had so much fun writing this but it's not your typical story and thought perhaps I had stumbled upon a unique idea as I have read so many stories over the years but have never come across one like this. “Say Uncle!” The side of my face was pressed against the dirt of the sand box. Billy’s thumb dug into my wrists. The pressure sending the sharp pain radiating up my arm through my elbow. I shrieked like a wounded animal. “That’s not ‘Uncle’… If you want me to let go… All you have to say is ‘Uncle’.” Rex taunts me as he plants his knee in to my back.

“Rex, Billy, you let Brett go this instant!” One of the teachers comes to my aid.

On Monday December 22, Krista, Jasmine, Jenny & Holly were getting ready to deliver the teddy bears, rabbits, and cabbits they and other CWP members had crocheted. They gathered in the nurse’s office after classes finished to change into cute green with red trim Christmas elf costumes. Pat, Krista’s mom and the school nurse, had the soft crocheted animals in the rear of her Expedition. They traveled into Easton to stop at the Neighborhood Services Center, which was simply a drop off.

At the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center they went into the children’s ward. After checking in with head nurse, Mrs. Miller, she escorted the elves into the kid’s rooms. The kids squealed with delight as they hugged their lovingly crafted stuffed animals. Witnessing their delight and happiness, the staff as well as the CWP girls were near tears. The parents and relatives of the hospitalized children who were present were grateful for the teen elves bringing a bit of Christmas cheer to their hospitalized children.

With the Time Machine Bandit, Clemson, now ‘incarcerated’. Alex and the crew of Meridian 12 must now find their Egyptian passengers a new home. What other surprises are in store from the Empress of Time and Space? And is this the last time we’ll see Andromeda, Regina and the crew of Atlantis?
