The drug was called Isisraxtosa-a breakthrough treatment, hailed as the cure to a deadly virus no one could control. For a while, it worked. People recovered. Life began to feel normal again. But miracles have side effects. And this one was far worse than anyone imagined.
Now, the world is falling apart, and two girls are caught in the middle of it-wandering through cities where nothing stays dead, and silence can be the most dangerous sound of all. They don't know what's waiting out there... Only that it used to be human.

Wars always bring hardship. With the men leaving for war, the women are left behind to take care of themselves. To some, this is a good opportunity to profit at the expense of the defenseless women. That was, until I came along and changed everything. Fear me, scoundrels!

It was the next day and after school the Vaughn and Davis family went to the hospital to see Zack. He was so happy to see his sisters Katie and Taylor and cousin Zoey that he started to cry. That’s when Katie and Taylor ran to the bed to give him a hug. And before they can jump on to the bed he said no “I’ve just wet myself.” The twins just looked at him and said “we did to.” And then they “giggled.”

That’s when he saw Ms. Van Horne and asked “when can I go home.”
