Grace decided to pull a second shift at the hospital. The nurse she was covering for, had a family emergency. She checked on Raven and she was out of it. Her girlfriend Clair had left to go back to the hotel they were staying in to change.

Grace knew Clair was coming back to be by her girlfriend. She checks Raven's vitals and records them on the pad the hospital was using. As she is walking back to the nurses' station, she notices her partner Anthony talking to nurse Brooke. She was a light skin African American woman. She had the type of figure, Anthony looked for in a woman.

Stanley walks around the cargo area of the C-17 they were flying in. Dave and Greg were investigating the IAV Stryker Rebecca sent along. The thing was equipped with an M134 GAU-17 Gatling Gun and plenty of ammo to go along with it. She also sent along with additional ammo for their weapons.

Kat checks her handguns to make sure they were in operational condition. She goes over her full body armor, making sure everything was in working order. Stanley noticed that their full-body armor had been loaded as well. On their shoulders, was their Golden Eagle symbol.

Hunter’s Supply Warehouse:
Carla had managed to locate another Hunter supply depot. She goes about gathering items to resupply her depot. While she is gathering her supplies and placing special design explosives to destroy everything. She hears a familiar voice coming from the darkness.

“Hello, Carla. It’s good to see you again.” Robert Caron steps out of the shadows towards Carla.

Carla turns around when she hears Robert’s voice. A smile appears on her face behind her helmet.

The Caution is for a slightly oblique reference to self harm. For American readers a Stanley knife is what you might call a 'box cutter'.

She couldn’t believe that Kat and the rest of the team were on their way to their location. All the message said, was that a pissed off Kat was on her way to them. When she responded about the rest of Kat’s team. She was informed they were heading to Walker, Kansas to stay with Kat’s sister.

“Tammy, where are you?’ Becky couldn’t find Tammy anywhere and the next thing she hears is the sound of a gun.

“Guys, Tammy is under attack.” Becky heads towards the sound of the gunshot.

2 of 3 – The Days Before

“What the fuck just happened?” Grace had a confused look on her face.

Their SUV just shut down in the middle of the road. Anthony was trying to restart it, but nothing was happening. The next thing the two of them feel is an explosion.

All the glass on the SUV cracked from the explosion. The SUV rocks again, as another explosion hits it. Grace tries opening her door, but it wouldn’t open “my door won’t open.”

Anthony tries his as well, but it wouldn’t open as well “mine won’t open either.”

Keeping the populace in control.
