Ok, this one is a bit... well, weird and nasty, to be honest. If you are of a delicate disposition, please move along. I've been ill with covid, but I'm a bit better now. Thanks again to Gabi for editing and proofreading, but don't blame her for everything else. It's a bit rushed for Halloween because of the illness. I'll try and tidy it as I go along. There are more chapters, but it's not finished yet. What can I say, deadlines and illness don't mix...

Chapter Six

Plans Within Plans

“I remain, your obedient servant, Constance De La Concordia, Palatine, Adepta Sororitas.”

The drive into the city was peaceful. Papa never told me what the city was called, nor did I care about the name. It’s just the place when we needed something that we couldn’t find in town.

Valley Regional Airport, Hayden, CO:
Two black SUV’s were parked near a private hangar. In one SUV’s sat Carla and Bear. They were watching the landing strip and waiting for the representatives of the Hunter Organization to land. Both were wearing matching three-piece black suits.

Carla glances over towards Bear “so, how do you know, Mr. Bounty?”

A sly smile appears on his weathered face “I was hired to kill him, and I almost succeed, too.”

“You were hired to kill him, and he let you live?” Carla was stunned to hear that.

Lonna lay on her stomach, small wings folded forward up and under her chest, her stubby red tail lashing side to side. She kept turning the events of the night over and over in her head.

Melissa had called her beautiful. Even despite her being a half dragon, a runaway princess, and an all around mess… Melissa had called her beautiful.

So Lonna had kissed her.

And then Melissa had said she was a girl, and it felt like everything clicked into place. It felt like everything was exactly the way it was supposed to be…

Six dark figures jump out of an ordinary propeller prop plane at night. Their target was just below them. They glide down out of the sky, using the darkness and lack of a moon as cover.

A lone figure laying down on top of the roof of the log mansion spots the figures. She watches as they glide down through the night sky.

“Little Sister to Grease Man. Our visitors have arrived. They are approaching from behind the mansion.” Rachel watches the figures through her specialize scope on her sniper rifle.

“Watch out guys.” Tammy fires three rapid shots from her rifle.

Three guys fall from three different trees they had been concealed in. Tammy spotted them with her thermal scope. She looks where they dropped and noticed they had rifles as well.

“Guys, they have upped the game. They are using rifles now.”

“Thanks for the update, Tammy.” Paul knocks another of their attackers out.

“How are those jammers coming, guys?” Kat does a spin kick at another attacker.

Outside gun range:
“Alright Catlin, let’s see what mom taught you.” Tizzy stands behind Catlin with Lien near her at the outside gun range her mom uses.

Catlin opens the gun cases Cheshire gave her. Inside were Springfield Armory XDM .45ACP with three spare magazines. Each gun was equipped with threaded barrels, so she could attach the silencers that were in the case with them.

Carla’s and Angela’s townhouse, New York:
Angela smiles as she watches Carla hangs from the ceiling. The ponytail hung down between Carla’s legs and the fishing weights she attached to Carla’s nipples were stretching Carla’s breasts. The ball gag in Carla’s mouth was secured behind her head.

“You shouldn’t have agreed to let me do to you, anything I wanted sweetie.” Angela places a kiss on the side of Carla’s cheek.

It is impossible to make direct comparisons of time between Earth and Castle via any one or group of characters since the characters’ timelines are anything but consistent as persons from various times on Earth become co-temporal with persons from other times on incursion.

Sanctuary Ranch, Hayden, Colorado:
“What do you think, Bart?” Anika was walking around the custom log mansion.

“I think there’s no way the Hunter organization will be able to sneak up or set a trap.” Bart was at least a hundred acres out from the old fashion log mansion.

“Not with the wolves patrolling the property.” Anika knew her brother was going to bring some of his wolves to patrol the property.
