I cautiously made my way outside, good the others have gone. Dad and the coaching team were another matter, I have to go right past where they're sat talking to get to the beach path. Hmm, what to do? Disguise, that's what I need. I glanced around reception for looking for inspiration, my reflection caught my attention then it struck me – hair.

“Hmm, that thigh's a bit weepy.” Jemma noted.

“But it's scabbing up.”

“It needs a bit of air to dry it up.”

“I am not wearing a skirt again!”

“Whoa, calm down, I wasn't even going to suggest that, just go commando in bed tonight?”

“Er sure.” I sighed.

“Let's get some antiseptic on there for now.”

Well, I'm late. I expected to be done with this weeks ago. Unfortunately, I remembered after I started that this was one of my hardest stories to write correctly, and while in the middle of writing a book... yeah. The good news is the book is about 40% complete. The bad news is the slow updates will continue until I'm done. Though with luck they won't all be this slow.

Anyway, enjoy.

“Dad? Can we get some maple sugar to take to Tomas and I have a friend I might be meeting down there too.”
He grins and takes a couple of blocks from the deepfreeze. “We’ll get some Canadian stuff from the dollar store too okay. I’m not paying the prices that they want at the airport.”
“Sure!”
We get into the car and we head out with dad driving and putting in one of his CD’s and we’re listening to some of his music as we go. I’m not a big fan of Bon Jovi and all of that one size fit’s all glam rock stuff but it’s okay.
It’s okay because Tia came up for air today.
I have a name.
