We were passing a shoe store when I stopped abruptly and said, “I wan’ tae ‘ave somethin’ tha’ I kin feel comfortable in. Mom said nae tae fatigues, but no’ tae some bloody combat boots.”
I spaced out for the next few days. Orderlies came in and changed my bedding, nurses fixed my colostomy bags, and drained the catheter bag. I got sponge baths, and they manually manipulated my limbs, so my muscles wouldn’t tighten up and atrophy. All the while, I sat there in a fugue. Things happened, and I was aware of them. But I didn’t give them any thought, and I certainly didn’t respond to anyone.

A boy is convinced and blackmailed into agreeing to go to school as a girl and try out for the girls cheer squad. Its one of the favorite TG fiction themes that almost every TG writer has to try at least once.I think its a law.
I tried to ground it in some reality and I think its still silly. I guess if one tries the 'boy tries out for a cheer squad as a girl' Reality goes out the window. Unless one wants to use a actual TG theme and has him transition. But then hes just another girl. I dont really want that. So fine, this is still going to be a fun story to write. Goodbye reality.

Adele and Kimberley are on their way to the Missionville courthouse to file their case when they are abducted by two rednecks whose job it is to keep them from doing so. The rednecks decide that Adele is a dish just too delicious not to taste.
Adele takes a closer look at Bear Mountain and is rudely surprised and rear ended. Meanwhile Michelle DeLong represents the law firm with Adele's old flame and finds out that her feet are of very much interest to him for reasons that have nothing to do with walking.
Sarin gets his instructions from the Goddess and begins to make the arrangements to carry them out. Emily gets too curious and forces the entire story from Sarin. She has a friend with her that helps out with the story.

Mia promised Christina that at school the next day, she would talk to Emma and get her book back. Meanwhile, Christina would have to put up with another day as a girl. Even though she pined for her old life as a boy, Christina would have to get used to being a girl.
This is the conclusion of this tale. Serren gets restored, he has his revenge against the witches and shows himself to be just as cruel.
And he has a few surprises at the end

While passing the minivan I glanced at it. Its polished side was reflecting the wall with graffiti and there was a door. When I turned to the wall there was no door. Then I turned to the minivan and there was I in the mirror and the door behind me. Following myself in the mirror I took small steps toward the door. I felt the wall with my back already. Still looking in the mirror I groped the door and took its knob firmly in my hand. I turned it and the door cracked open but I couldn’t see what was behind it. I pushed it open but I had to step through the doorway to open the door. At the same instant, I was standing again with my back to the wall and there was no minivan.
