Waking up in a strange place with your arms strapped securely against your sides is a rather disconcerting experience. Even after you realize you're in a hospital.

Of course there are only a couple reasons why one wakes up strapped down in the hospital. Either you're a criminal or they're afraid you'll hurt yourself. In case you're wondering, I'm in category 2, and not in the "he might have a seizure" kind of way.

I wake up like I always do 5:28 AM it’s a reflex. I have a routine and that’s not possible right now. I’m not home, not in my home, my sanctuary, the one place that…that was supposed to be my refuge against the chaos out there of the world.

It was all gone, but I found something else, someone wonderful and I think I discovered something…It wasn’t enough though. Just my morning routine kept trying to run through my head, and not being there home it just…it kept ticking away until I close my eyes trying to get it out of my head.

CHAPTER 17
I had already packed the necessaries for work the next day into my locker, so I was able to make do with just the Barley, the small saddle bag from Carradice that would give me enough space for what I needed for the night ride.

Prince Christian decided that he was going to court and wed Dawn, she was perfect for him. He loved her slender figure, her now shoulder-length Flaxen colored hair. He also loved the fact that she was born male, but now had the appearance of a beautiful fair maiden.

Chapter One

"Hey, ya little faggot! What the fuck're you doing in the boys locker room?"
Bobby McKellogg found himself slammed up against the lockers, the boy who stood over him scowling, one fist cocked and ready to slam into Bobby's face if he said the wrong thing. He was used to it. Certain boys always treated him this way. Brian Nelson was the worst of them, though.

Chapter 5
The Night Goes On

We took 2 taxis to the bar that wasn’t the one we expected. In fact it was a big surprise because it was a famous and popular Gay nightclub called the Nightingale Club but I’d never heard of it. Jessica had been before with Mary Jo and Sally so it was their recommendation. We had the tickets and when I looked at mine I realized it was the same bar that James had mentioned with the discount tickets. They’d be there I was sure.

“source that one of the last few remaining artifacts are located in this ruin.” Arric said with a small interjection from Raleigh. “And that it is only guarded by two golems and a gargoyle.”

“Stone creatures...ew.” Ash said feeling the blades on her sword. “Stone isn't nice to blades.”

“Gargoyle?” Kate said half lost in cloud-observation. “Its like a stone dragon right?”

As it's Drew/Gaby's birthday on February 25th I thought I'd give you a little something to read.Originally released to attendees of the 2010 Gabycon in Dorset this is a short extract from the new Gaby book I'm currently working on Changes. I hope you all enjoy this little taster and I'm all fired up and I'll be scribbling away with fervour for the next few weeks! For now though I'll leave you to enjoy this short extract.

She passed the flyer across the table to him.

It certainly looked like somewhere to visit”­; ”¬four huge halls full of gaming,”­ ”¬costuming and a fair bit more besides.

Part 10

James quickly reached and passed through the tree line into the marsh beyond. The closer he got to the water the soggier the terrain became. It didn't take him long to start sinking into the mud and stumble forward. Struggling to stay on his feet he kept going but stumbled and fell every few feet. The mud was so sticky it sucked the shoes off his feet as he struggled forward. His blind progress slowed until he was so mired he couldn't free himself from the muck. By that point he simply fell forward and started to cry like a little baby .
