Part 1
It was my day off work and I was just drifting around in town, ending up in the big shopping mall for a wander around and a bite to eat. This was a usual occupation for me as I hardly ever had something meaningful to do. I work Tuesday to Saturday and get Sunday and Monday off.
Miles lugged his suitcase through the streets as he headed towards his new residence. He didn’t pack much, but having to walk a mile carrying his luggage was excruciating. If only he had his car, except it was unable to start and is in need of maintenance. The bus had to do for now, where the closest stop was off-campus and very inconvenient.
Over the next couple of months, Dan mentored Mandy at work and Mandy mentored Dan in the skills of dressing and makeup. Dan worked late at least once a week. He had told his wife that there was a lot of work involving turning the company into a PLC.
She didn’t mind. She said he seemed a bit happier these days with all the extra work. Dan was very careful. He always showered before he went home. He was always checking himself in the mirror in the car before he went inside.

Rita and the cleaning company she was hired to work for have been on site since eleven at night. The nighttime guards had cleared her and all the other cleaning members. Carla had managed to come by and give her the EMF scanner she needed to scan for the magical artifact.

By Maryanne Peters
It doesn’t seem to be used so much these days – not since Joni Mitchell saw him taken away in the big yellow taxi, but it seems right to call him that. He is old and he is a man, and I am neither of those. And he is mine, I suppose. I am definitely his.
It was a pretty lucky night for Devin. He didn’t have any nightmares that night. There was no dream to taunt or tease him about wanting to be a girl. Nothing to bother him. He couldn’t possibly be happier.
Devin sat down on his living room couch as he contemplated what he was going to do that day. Today was going to be a pretty big day, by the looks of it. A mall trip and they were probably going to finish “For a Girl”. It had been a week of reading it, but it felt good to finally get it done.
