Against his better judgement, a man gives his wife a very feminine piece
of lingerie for their anniversary. She does not appreciate the gesture and makes
an offer that he takes her up on.
The next story I'm going to share with you was told to me by Junior Scoutmaster Emma Jeanette Pierce. I'm also going to confess I went a little overboard with the name of the story. I don't apologize for it at all though, mostly because it conjures up perfectly the vibe I want to capture with these stories.
The Ghostly Dancer at the Annual Cotillion Ball
Told By

He knew that he hadn’t seen that piece of paper before, and it hadn’t been in his locker when he closed it up the previous afternoon. Someone had shoved it between the venting slats after he left the previous day or before he arrived that morning.
Easy As Calling On A Mike.

part:317.
The afternoon was a complete mess, I wasted time by being unable to concentrate on anything I needed to do. I was about to give up and go home when the phone rang. It was Pippa.
"Cathy, can you take a call from Des?"
"Of course, thank you."
"I hope he can help," she said as she put him through to me.
"No, it wasn't that..." I hesitated. "It was Ms. Gifford..."
I wasn't sure how much I wanted to say. The real reason I was upset was all the media attention... what it might lead to. What it would have to lead to, if it kept up. If the reporters started looking into my life, they'd find out pretty quickly that I used to be a boy.

Robert Pemberton answers an advertisement in a contact magazine. The resulting changes to his life are the stuff of dreams.

Mia woke up with sunlight streaming into her eyes. She flinched and rolled over. Robin was asleep next to her, laying on his back snoring like a freight train. The sound was immensely loud, reverberating in her ears. She covered her head with a pillow and snuggled into him. HE wrapped his arm around her and adjusted a little in his sleep. Her head ached, and her stomach was very sour, but she felt good about what they'd done...well, what she could remember at least. Some of the antics after four AM were kind of fuzzy.
‘Yes you were dear; quite amazing. We have one or two swats here, but judging by this test, you will give them a run for their money. You must have known how intelligent you are?’
He sits there, trapped by his fear, his cowardice.
He's afraid to do anything that might draw attention to himself.
He's afraid to meet with his co-workers off hours.
He's afraid that he won't be able to bluff his way through all that guy talk.
He's afraid that he'll have a bad time.
He's afraid that he'll have a good time.
This is really the story of a vacation I took in the South Seas, or mostly the story of my South-Sea vacation. Susan would say that it's ostensibly about my vacation. Don't worry if you don't know what "ostensibly" means... it will all become clear once I get underway.
Eric Niklisel was the pride and joy of his parents, so much so that his older sister was treated almost as an afterthought. But when he shrunk away from his duty to defend his people from the invading forces of Prince Jandl, she saw an opportunity to steal away with his honour and glory.

(The Titanic Era Diary of Evelyn Westcott)
Evi Westcott (born Edward Tucker) is a turn-of-the-20th Century Alpha female, impatient with the roles polite society has assigned to women — including accidental women like herself — and in a hurry to set things straight. Evi is eighteen. Touring Europe with Auntie Enid, she’s learning about Life in its astonishing diversity and seeking the key to a safe future for herself and the rest of ‘Tottie’s Girls’ — the dozen gender-dsyphoric youth who like Evelyn depend for their happiness on a secure supply of ‘Balthasar’s extract.’
1911 is a fine time to be young. The world is full of new things — the automobile, the aeroplane, social consciousness, moving pictures, mental hygiene and ragtime. Women are dumping the corset and demanding the vote, kicking over the pedestals upon which Victorian Sensibility has placed them. It is a time of creativity and experimentation in the natural sciences, of rapidly growing comprehension of how ‘internal secretions’ regulated human physiology.
Join Evi as she and Aunt Enid arrive in Vienna — sophisticated, elegant and decadent to the core. Of, if you are new to this series, begin at the beginning (some 75,000 words ago) or go to the end of this chapter for a very short synopsis of the story so far.
It's been a series of madcap adventures for Chrissie, starting in middle school when she posed as a Reluctant Girlfriend and on through her high school career as a cheerleader.
Now she's in college! Can you get a degree in crossdressing shenanigans?"
