Two years ago Stacy visited a newly discovered dimension, with his parents, on an adventurous summer vacation. He was astounded by how the other dimension's technology was decades ahead of his own! During his senior year he applied to Emerson University in the city he had visited. Hi, my name is Kevin. I am a ten-year-old boy, or at least I was until everything changed. Let me tell you a little about myself I live in the Hollywood Hills of California with my parents, Robert and Karen, both in their late thirties.

My dad is a firefighter and my mom is an emergency room nurse. Unlike many children my age, I was not spoiled; I was a diligent student and a caring individual.

However, I was notably small for my age, standing at just four feet tall, making me the shortest in my class, even among the girls.

If the title and plot of this story seem familiar, it's intentional! This is a rewriting of Drabble: Reunion in a slightly more prosaic format (~730 words compared to 100) - which should provide more of a grounding for anyone wishing to continue the tale.

Teaser: I stood on the concourse of Arrivals, nervously awaiting the appearance of Jack. I'd been having second thoughts about this reunion ever since I'd arranged it - after all, a lot can happen in five years, and in my case, a lot had happened in the past five years.
